00:00But, I just think, when I consider how good this country has been to me, I just think
00:09about how much I owe to it.
00:12That gratitude should come with a sense of responsibility.
00:15And when I think about Kamala Harris, who I guess is our vice presidential candidate
00:19officially, but I guess she's going to run for president now because Joe Biden dropped
00:23out of the race, I'm going to take bets here, I'm going to start a betting pool just in
00:37this auditorium.
00:39But I wonder, when I see her give a speech, and she talks about the history of this country,
00:47not with appreciation, but with condemnation.
00:51Of course, every country, just like every family, certainly mine, has its pockmarks.
00:57Not everything is perfect, it's never going to be.
00:59But you, if you want to lead this country, you should feel grateful for it.
01:03You should feel a sense of gratitude.
01:05And I never hear that gratitude come through when I listen to Kamala Harris.
01:18And that's what we've got to do.
01:21Fundamentally, you're going to agree, hopefully, since you're here, you're going to agree hopefully
01:25with most of what President Trump and I want to do.
01:28We want to...
01:33We're going to drill baby drill, we're going to shut down that border, we're going to put
01:36America's citizens first, because that's what America's citizens are going to elect us to
01:41do.
01:42That's common sense.
01:54But thank you, sir.
01:55But even when, even when you disagree with us, nobody's ever perfect.
02:01No politician is perfect, certainly not me.
02:03But you deserve to be led by people who are grateful, who are grateful for the community
02:09they came from, who are grateful for this country and its boundless opportunities, who
02:13are grateful for the service of our veterans and the people who put their lives on the
02:17lines from police and firemen on down.
02:30I believe that you deserve to be led by people who are grateful.
02:33And I know that President Trump is grateful for this country, and I know that I am, and
02:37I know we're never going to stop fighting to give you the same opportunities that we
02:41got.
02:42That's what this whole thing is all about.
