00:00We've reached the point of no return, Prince of Faithfulness.
00:11Will you not return, and let some sleep?
00:14No.
00:15But I shall rest here and there.
00:18My daughter, how many times shall I tell you?
00:22My daughter, how many times shall I tell you?
00:24Come, pour the milk and drink it with water.
00:27So that when the morning comes, you may go out with it to those who want it.
00:30O God, O Father of God!
00:32The Prince of Faithfulness has ordered his servants to call him.
00:35Milk cannot be drunk with water.
00:37You are not in a position to be seen by Omer or his servants.
00:40Come, do what I have ordered you to do, quickly.
00:42By God, I was not to obey him in the palace, and to disobey him in the palace.
00:46There is little in obeying than much in disobeying.
00:48And if the eyes of Omer are heedless of us,
00:50then the Lord of Omer, who does not sleep or sleep, is watching over us.
00:59Know the situation, O Aslamah.
01:01If it is a day of destruction,
01:03see who says it and who says it.
01:06And is there any one from Baal?
01:18Let's go.
02:18The Prince of Faithfulness?
02:20Will you hear us?
02:48Let's go, O Prince of Faithfulness.
02:50It may be a good thing.
02:52Let your daughter in.
03:18Let's go.
03:20Let's go.
03:51So hear me, O God, as I speak to you about that milk.
03:54Repent, O Prince of Faithfulness.
03:56Repent.
03:58For God is forgiving of sin.
04:00Repent.
04:02Yes, and severe is the punishment.
04:04So fear God, and do not return to it again.
04:06Do it, O Prince of Faithfulness.
04:08Do it.
04:10As for you, you are a good girl.
04:12I have asked about you,
04:14and I know that the girl is no longer yours.
04:17But you are married.
04:19Zainab!
04:21Zainab!
04:23This is my son, Asim.
04:25He has no wife.
04:27And I have spoken to him about you,
04:29and I have watched him.
04:31So if you wish,
04:33you may look at him,
04:35and he may look at you.
04:37And if you like,
04:39we have married you.
04:47Let us go.
04:59Let us go.
05:17Let us go.
05:47Let us go.
06:17Let us go.
06:47Let us go.
06:49Let us go.
06:51Let us go.
06:53Let us go.
06:55Let us go.
06:57Let us go.
06:59Let us go.
07:01Let us go.
07:03Let us go.
07:05Let us go.
07:07Let us go.
07:09Let us go.
07:11Let us go.
07:13Let us go.
07:15Let us go.
07:17Let us go.
07:19Let us go.
07:21Let us go.
07:23Let us go.
07:25Let us go.
07:27Let us go.
07:29Let us go.
07:31Let us go.
07:33Let us go.
07:35Let us go.
07:37Let us go.
07:39Let us go.
07:41Let us go.
07:43I feel that I am greater than life,
07:45and more noble than death,
07:47and that the great spirit
07:49has taken hold of me,
07:51and it is He who carried me
07:53to my father's throne and to the White Palace.
07:55How can He not be pleased with that?
07:59Then I know
08:01why the princes
08:03killed each other
08:05on the throne.
08:07Welcome.
08:13Peace be upon you,
08:15Prince of the Faithful.
08:17And upon you peace.
08:19Sit down.
08:21O Allah, bless me
08:23with them,
08:25for each of them
08:27wants me for my religion.
08:31Beware of Allah
08:33in that in which you dispute.
08:35We judge
08:37by what appears to us,
08:39not by what is hidden.
08:43Remember the words of the Messenger of Allah.
08:47You dispute with me,
08:49and it may be that some of you
08:51are more inclined to his argument than others.
08:55So I judge for him according to what I hear of him.
08:59Whoever cuts off from his brother's right
09:01something, he does not take it,
09:03but I cut off
09:05a piece of fire for him.
09:09Settle your complaint,
09:11O sinner, before your opponent.
09:13O Prince of the Faithful,
09:15I have a well in Al-Arid,
09:17and between it and my land,
09:19which I prosper,
09:21is the land of Muhammad ibn Salama.
09:23So if I want to pass the water
09:25to water my land,
09:27it must pass through the land of Muhammad.
09:29So he prevented me.
09:31I said,
09:33you have a well,
09:35you drink from it first and last,
09:37and you water your plants with it if you like,
09:39and it does not harm you at all.
09:41But he refused.
09:43Why do you forbid your brother
09:45what benefits him,
09:47when you have a well,
09:49you water with it, and it does not harm you, as he said?
09:51It is my land,
09:53my property, O Prince of the Faithful,
09:55and I am free in what I do with it,
09:57and what I allow or do not allow.
09:59And I fear, if I permit him,
10:01that his people may be tempted
10:03by the water of his well,
10:05and they may enter it,
10:07and some of them may be offended by it,
10:09as if I had made it for every passer-by.
10:17But as it is your land and your property,
10:19there is no harm in it.
10:21But if he forbids you to permit it,
10:23it will harm him,
10:25as if you were obstructing
10:27him in his land.
10:29And this is not in your favor at all.
10:31But if he permits you to permit it,
10:33it will benefit him,
10:35and it will benefit you,
10:37and it will not harm you.
10:39Will you harm the one who permits it?
10:41But we are dependent
10:43on what God has put in our hands.
10:45We benefit from it,
10:47and we benefit from it the people.
10:49And the purpose is to build the land.
10:53And it is your duty
10:55not to let him wander in your land.
10:57And if he does,
10:59I will punish him.
11:01Will you not leave for me
11:03the good in my land,
11:05Prince of the Faithful?
11:07There is no good in this.
11:09By God, he will not pass by
11:11with his water,
11:13even on your stomach.
11:15It is decided.
11:17Peace be upon you.
11:19And peace be upon you.
11:22A complaint?
11:24Yes, Prince of the Faithful.
11:26Against Hatib ibn Balta'a?
11:28Against his oppressors.
11:30What did they do to me, Prince of the Faithful?
11:32They stole my camel.
11:34You did?
11:36We did, Prince of the Faithful.
11:40Then,
11:42we will bring you down to the limits of God.
11:47But what did you do with his camel?
11:51We slaughtered it.
11:53And we ate it.
11:55And we fed it.
11:58And what did you gain from that?
12:02Say, and do not make a fool of yourself.
12:05Hunger, Prince of the Faithful.
12:07He has gained from us.
12:10Do you not satisfy your greed, O Hatib?
12:16There is no power or strength but by God.
12:19Where has mercy gone?
12:21You use them,
12:23and then starve them.
12:25Even if one of them ate what God has forbidden,
12:27there would be no solution for him.
12:29And it has become in the judgment of the verse,
12:31Whosoever is forced,
12:33neither is it permissible, nor is it permissible,
12:35then there is no sin against him.
12:37Verily, God is Forgiving and Merciful.
12:39I have removed from them the limit
12:41with the suspicion of necessity.
12:43And it is better to put an end to the limits
12:45in suspicions,
12:47than to put an end to them in suspicions.
12:49Get out of here.
12:51And my camel, O Prince of the Faithful.
12:53O God,
12:55if I had removed the punishment from them,
12:57I would not have made you suffer.
12:59For you are the origin of this evil.
13:01O Muzani,
13:03how much did your camel ask of you?
13:05Four hundred.
13:07Go and give him eight hundred.
13:09And give him double its price.
13:11And you, Sathir,
13:13and I am asking about your greed,
13:15if you bring them back to their limits,
13:17I will put an end to them.
13:19The matter is decided.
13:35Peace be upon you.
13:37And upon you peace and mercy of God.
13:39I ask for your permission.
13:41Say it.
13:43I ask for your permission.
13:45O Prince of the Faithful,
13:47I want to marry
13:49a girl
13:51whom I married in the past.
13:57Then I buried her in the ground
13:59until her heart sank.
14:01Then I married her.
14:03Then we became Muslims,
14:05and she became Muslim.
14:07Until she became young.
14:09Then she became
14:11a thorn in the side of God.
14:17Do you know adultery?
14:23So I took her intercourse
14:25to kill myself.
14:27And we realized it
14:29when she cut off one of her limbs.
14:31Then I healed her
14:33until she became pure.
14:35Then I accepted
14:37after a good repentance
14:39and a good deed.
14:41Those are the people
14:43whom God changes
14:45their bad deeds.
14:47And now,
14:49someone has come to address you.
14:51Shall I tell them
14:53what happened?
14:55Do you believe in what God has hidden
14:57and you deny it?
14:59By God, if you tell anyone about it,
15:01I will make you an example
15:03for the people of Al-Ansar.
15:09I am getting married to a Muslim woman.
15:15Have mercy on me,
15:17O Ameer al-Mumineen.
15:19May God have mercy on you
15:21in this world and in the Hereafter.
15:23Do not do it,
15:25or you will be disrespected.
15:27And I am one of those
15:29whom God hates.
15:31And I am one of the Muslims.
15:33I have been tested by this matter
15:35more than you.
15:39May God have mercy on you.
16:01May God have mercy on you.
16:25O Allah,
16:27I have tried my best
16:29to do what you told me
16:31to do.
16:33I did not find in the Quran
16:35or Sunnah
16:37that your Messenger
16:39did it.
16:41And I only wanted
16:43what I could.
16:45And that is what
16:47is in my heart
16:49from the understanding of your religion.
16:51If you mean it,
16:53it is from your success.
16:55And if I have made a mistake,
16:57forgive me.
17:09O Aba al-Hassan,
17:11I have been
17:13looked at
17:15by many people
17:17and judged by many.
17:19If you were to judge me,
17:21you would judge me,
17:23and I would judge you.
17:25I am a scholar
17:27and a leader of the Ummah.
17:31If I were to judge you
17:33in a matter
17:35and you were to judge me
17:37and judge others,
17:39what would you do?
17:41There is no difference
17:43between what the Book of Allah
17:45or the Sunnah of His Prophet
17:47has decided.
17:49And you, O Aba al-Hassan,
17:51are the most knowledgeable of them all.
17:53I am a man who judges
17:55by his own opinion and view.
17:57I do not disobey a judgment
17:59that Aba al-Hassan judged by his own opinion,
18:01even if I opposed his opinion.
18:03And we ask Allah for guidance.
18:05Then do it, O Ameer al-Mumineen.
18:09I will not remain in a land
18:11where Aba al-Hassan is not.
18:15O people,
18:17we are receiving
18:19from the people
18:21what was not like it
18:23in the time of the Messenger of Allah.
18:25And we do not find in it
18:27any judgment in the Book of Allah.
18:29So we say
18:31by our opinion
18:33and our understanding
18:35of the purposes of religion
18:37and the righteous opinion.
18:39And if the opinion
18:41of the Messenger of Allah
18:43was a calamity,
18:45then Allah would have shown it.
18:47And the revelation has been cut off.
18:49So if we see an opinion,
18:51none of you will say
18:53that it is the judgment of Allah.
18:55We will be like those who
18:57turn to Allah and claim
18:59that Allah has chosen it
19:01by His knowledge and purposes,
19:03without the people.
19:05So if you disobey the opinion,
19:07as if you disobeyed Allah,
19:09then He will not stop
19:11judging you with disbelief.
19:13And if He does,
19:15maybe He will shed your blood.
19:17But the opinion is common.
19:19It may differ
19:21from man to man
19:23in one matter.
19:25And one may see
19:27an opinion today,
19:29then see something better than it,
19:31and then return to it.
19:33And that is why the Shura
19:35was the best opinion.
19:37And I have already
19:39argued in a matter
19:41with my opinion.
19:43So I heard a speaker say,
19:45and Omar's opinion,
19:47and I was afraid to hurt him.
19:49What he said was bad.
19:53But it is Omar's opinion.
19:55If it is right,
19:57it is from Allah.
19:59And if it is wrong,
20:03it is from Omar.
20:07O people!
20:09O people!
20:12Sunnah
20:14is what Allah and His Messenger
20:16have made sunnah.
20:18So do not make the wrong opinion
20:20a sunnah for the nation.
20:36Peace be upon you.
20:38Peace be upon you too.
20:40I will meet you at Tariq.
20:42Maybe Tariq is better.
20:44I have heard
20:46that Medweqa has given birth
20:48to his son.
20:50And he wants to give people
20:52a lot of food and drink.
20:54And we will celebrate with him.
20:56In our way, yes.
20:58And I know
21:00that he will bring food and drink
21:02to the city guards.
21:04And if they drink,
21:06they spend on the drink
21:08And this is a great opportunity.
21:10You mean?
21:12Yes.
21:14If it is the end of the night,
21:16they will be more careful.
21:18And they have drunk a lot.
21:20So we will ride on them, God willing.
21:22At the east gate?
21:24But he prevented them.
21:26That is why he was less of a guard
21:28as our eyes told us.
21:30They help to prevent the Syrian
21:32who is coming.
21:38Thank you.
22:08Thank you.
22:38Thank you.
23:08Thank you.
23:38Thank you.
24:08Thank you.
24:38Thank you.
25:08Thank you.
25:38Thank you.
25:42Muslims, Muslims!
25:44They entered from the east gate.
25:46Who are you?
26:01Don't move!
26:04If you decide to protect the city and are about to destroy it...
26:10A group of the Muslim army will enter from the East Gate.
26:14They rushed to their prince, asking for safety.
26:18We all perished.
26:33The Muslims have entered the city!
26:38Security!
26:40Security!
26:42Security, Prince!
26:47We have opened these doors for you, of course, on the condition of the security you promised.
26:54And that is before your companions, who entered the city from its east gate, reach us.
27:11Let's go!
27:41Let's go!
28:11Let's go!
28:42Let's go!
28:44Let's go!
29:11Let's go!
29:33Sit down, Prince.
29:41Let's go.
30:12This is a safe place, Prince.
30:26Yes, I entered from the east gate, but I did not meet any of the Roman guards.
30:33I did not meet any of the Roman guards.
30:39They had expelled those who were protecting the Romans, and they fought among themselves.
30:43And so they aimed to capture the Romans, and they were a help to us before that.
30:48So I gave them security over themselves, their money, their churches, and the city wall.
30:54Thus, they have the covenant of God and the authority of His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, and the Caliphs and the believers.
31:00Nothing is offered to them but good, and nothing is given to them but a reward.
31:04And we must prevent them from every enemy of theirs.
31:06Let's go.
31:36Let's go.
32:07Let's go.
32:09Let's go.
32:37Let's go.
32:39Let's go.
33:06He has spent most of his life, Suhail, and I have no need of Mecca or Medina.
33:14And you?
33:17Maybe I should go.
33:19The Jihadists did not stop in the Levant, but Damascus is in the middle of it.
33:24We will not rest until we enter the House of Al-Maqdis, God willing.
33:29The House of Al-Maqdis
33:35Welcome, Abu Zayd.
33:41I see in your face the look of the youth, and this is with the length of the journey.
33:45This is how Damascus does its business.
33:48Wasn't this conquest ten years ago?
33:50Praise be to God, I see that I am a Mujahid in the cause of God, and I see what God and His Messenger have promised you.
33:57And I still have two intentions, the one that Umar wanted to remove so that he could speak.
34:03The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, was the greatest, the wisest, and the most just.
34:11You know that what came in the news about the conquest of Damascus,
34:15until I received the second book from Iraq,
34:19tells me that the non-Jews had gathered against a king of the sons of the Acacia,
34:25and they were proud of his service and obedience.
34:29So what was between them was cut off from a dispute and hostility.
34:34Then they filled their armies from all sides,
34:38and they did not leave a single soldier.
34:40Then they filled their armies from all sides,
34:44and they spread their camels in the desert,
34:47and they carried people to break their covenant with our companions.
34:52And there is no way for Al-Muthanna and his army with that great gathering,
34:57but they want it to be a great, decisive battle.
35:02And that is what we want.
35:03And I order Abu Ubaidah to return Al-Qaqa'a and Khalid's companions to Iraq.
35:10And I have written to Al-Muthanna,
35:13that he should go out with his army from between the backs of the non-Jews,
35:17and he should go to the desert,
35:20and he should separate his army in the plains where the non-Jews live.
35:25And he should not invite anyone in Rabi'ah,
35:28nor Mudar,
35:30nor their allies from Ahl al-Najadah,
35:33nor Persians, except they receive him.
35:36And if he comes, he should be obedient,
35:39and if not, they should gather him.
35:42They carry the Arabs on their backs if the non-Jews retreat.
35:45And when the Arabs are destroyed,
35:48he will gather them all.
35:51And whatever Allah grants them of victory and good,
35:54he will give it to them all.
35:56So it is incumbent upon them
35:59to drive out all of them
36:02if all their enemies have been driven out.
36:05And I will go out to them
36:08when their gathering is complete.
36:11And let Abu al-Hassan lead me to the city.
36:14As for you going out yourself
36:17on the head of the army to Iraq,
36:20that is not in my opinion.
36:23Because if you are killed or defeated
36:26that is not in my opinion.
36:29I am afraid that you will not stand up for the Muslims after you.
36:32But you will stand up for your cause in the city,
36:35and you will lead the armies and you will take care of the matter.
36:38And if it is the one who desires victory,
36:41then that is what you want, and they want it.
36:44Otherwise, you will invite another soldier
36:47whom the enemy is jealous of,
36:50until Allah's victory comes.
36:53If the opinion is what Ibn Awf said,
36:56then who will command the army?
37:01The lion in his den
37:06helped Ibn Abi Waqas.
37:27I do not want to lose all of this.
37:30I have heard a wise man say,
37:33The one who owns a lot, fears a lot.
37:36And the one who tasted the sweetness of the kingdom,
37:39was the most regretful of losing it.
37:42So, the loss is as much as the loss.
37:45And today, I am the most afraid of losing this.
37:48Do you mean the Muslim army that landed in Qadisiyyah?
37:51And it has not yet come out of the desert.
37:53So, why are you hesitating?
37:56Every time I call for Bokal,
37:59the state may prove me wrong if I do not go to war.
38:02And now, it is better to hurry.
38:05And the first thing they did was to defend themselves
38:08until the mountains of Al-Nahsa were overturned.
38:11And he pointed to the commander of Jalibas,
38:14in an army to the east.
38:17You do not call for Rustum, nor do you consult him.
38:20Rather, you command him, and he obeys.
38:23So, he was and his stars would have been
38:26if the Muslims had won with Persia.
38:31The stars plan what we do,
38:34and we do not plan what we do.
38:37And we do not read in them,
38:40except in our minds and in our hands.
38:43So, I see that you are in charge of the matter, not the stars.
38:46A month. A month since the Arabs landed in Qadisiyyah.
38:49They went and gathered,
38:51and returned to their homes.
38:54They arrived in the blackness of Iraq,
38:57and they came and subdued it again.
39:00And every time I ordered you to go out to them,
39:03in a gathering where the Arabs did not see like it,
39:06you wandered and stopped.
39:09I do not know what is going on in your mind.
39:12Perhaps you say, a boy who was in the public dunes,
39:15hoping for nothing but salvation.
39:18We brought him and made him sit on his father's throne,
39:21and I was content with what I had.
39:24But,
39:27as I have sat on the throne of my fathers,
39:30I am in charge of the matter,
39:33and I will not leave my throne,
39:36and I have a strong bond.
39:39We are your servants and your guardians, my lord.
39:44If you are afraid of the Arab invasion,
39:47let us support you,
39:49and let your soul find a place in the depths of Khorasan,
39:52where the sheep graze.
