Tigers Triumph Over Guardians for a Strong 8-2 Victory

00:10Tigers continue to triumph. They've been victorious in twelve
00:14of their last sixteen. Yesterday, road money line
00:17favorite against the AL Central leading Cleveland Guardians in
00:21the land and Derek Scooble darn good. Eight to two, the victory
00:26for the Tigers and despite giving up ten hits, the RS
00:31Scooble only allows one earn run striking out six going seven
00:36inning strong to pick up the eleventh win of his season. The
00:40Tigers again victorious eight to two yesterday in Cleveland.
00:46Yeah, we thought the Tigers were the better side here. Now,
00:48granted, you know, Carlos Carrasco hasn't been a great
00:50pitcher overall but his analytics were starting to
00:52shape up but again, it's that Tigers lineup here that we
00:55laughed at for most of the first of what the 60 days of
00:58the season actually coming alive because you look at both
01:00teams yesterday, they did each get twelve hits which is kind
01:03of crazy only to play one run. So, when you look at Derek
01:06Scooble's final numbers and you say, non-analytically, boy,
01:09that was fantastic. Analytically, it wasn't very
01:11good at all. Giving up ten hits over seven innings at that
01:14point but they still picked up the victory and he was able to
01:16work around it which says something but also, two of
01:19fourteen with runners in scoring position for the
01:21Guardians. That's really what did them in. A couple clutch
01:23bases. This game might have been closer but the Tigers now
01:26a game out of being 500 here and the Guardians, let's just
01:30see if they can get out of that slump at the plate but having
01:32said that again, they got twelve hits. They just didn't
01:34cash in when they needed to.
