A brand new gift shop has opened up in Elm Grove. Stay Lucky, located at 91 Elm Grove, has combined gifts, coffee and sweet treats to create the perfect store.
The shop opened on July 11 and it has gone down a treat since thrusting its doors open.

00:3011th of July, so less than two weeks ago.
00:32And so what are you offering here?
00:35It's a gift shop, so primarily a gift shop, home, we've got cards out the back, and then
00:43we've also got a coffee and cake offer as well, which we'll be developing into juices,
00:48donuts maybe, and kind of sweet treats galore.
00:53Brilliant, and what's the response been like since you've opened?
00:56Really strong, yeah, so better than I was expecting.
01:00First day we had queues out the door, first couple of days actually, first weekend was
01:04very strong.
01:05It's settled a bit now into a pattern, but it's really strong, we've got a steady flow
01:09of people coming through the door every day.
01:11And what sort of business, because obviously you said that there's, was it 30 businesses?
01:16About 30 brands that we're representing in here at the moment, yeah.
01:21So it's very, you know, local and all of that.
01:25Yeah, we've got some local brands, local jewellers, and then some stuff from around
01:30the UK and around the world as well actually.
01:32And we're going to be bringing in more brands, moving a bit into apparel, and we're going
01:38to have a couple of cool sunglasses brands, and we've got Stance socks over there as well.
