00:00So then guys, this is crazy.
00:02In the last couple of days, we've had loads of leaks in
00:05for the next generations of iPhones.
00:07As you can see from this chart here,
00:09we have everything for the iPhone 17
00:11and even the next generation iPhone SE.
00:14But today, I want to primarily talk
00:16about the brand new iPhone 17 slim.
00:19And this is like the newest design iPhone we have had
00:23ever since I would say the iPhone 12 kind of generation.
00:26And even some people say before even like the iPhone 11.
00:29So this is gonna be a big shake up here from Apple
00:31in design language, what we're gonna have for the iPhone 17.
00:35And I'm gonna talk about the top five changes
00:37that are going to change everything with this iPhone.
00:40And first of all, I think it's obvious,
00:42let's talk about the design.
00:44So we've been told that Apple are gonna be bringing out
00:46a brand new slim design for the iPhone 17 slim.
00:50That's what we're gonna call it for the moment.
00:52And this goes back to Apple's cause
00:54of making all their products nice and slim and thin
00:57going forwards into the next generations of the iPhones.
01:00Because over the last couple of generations,
01:02the iPhones have got a little bit more thicker.
01:04And I think Apple just wants to reverse that.
01:06And in fact, we actually had an experience
01:08of this recently this year with the iPad Pro.
01:11The iPad Pro got even slimmer this time round
01:14compared to the last few generations.
01:17And obviously that's because of its brand new design
01:19as you can see right here.
01:21And this paired with TSMC's brand new kind of socks
01:24or whatever you wanna call them, chip sets,
01:26and then being even more efficient now
01:28as we go into the future,
01:29this doesn't cause as much heat generating.
01:32And for all this, Apple could actually slim down
01:34on their design.
01:35And also, like I said,
01:36because they're even more efficient here,
01:37this means then the battery life
01:39can also be around the same as we got right now.
01:42But the main thing is,
01:43the phone design is gonna get slimmer,
01:45but how much slimmer you may say,
01:47well, we don't actually know the exact kind of measurements
01:50at this point.
01:50But what I would say is probably compared to say
01:52the iPhone 16 plus is a good benchmark there
01:55because this is in essence the phone
01:57that's going to replace.
01:58We're not gonna get an iPhone 17 plus next year
02:00as you can see from this chart right here.
02:02I would probably say we're probably looking between say
02:0410 to 20% kind of slimmer design
02:07than what we have with say the iPhone 16 plus
02:10that comes out this year.
02:10What's obviously based on the iPhone 15 plus
02:13that we have right at the moment.
02:15So then guys, I don't know about you,
02:17but whenever I get a free minute to, I don't know,
02:19upload a new video to you guys or things like this,
02:22and I like to just have a bit of a time to myself,
02:26I like to actually play Match Masters,
02:27which is really new, great, addictive game.
02:30What's great to play when you only have like a few minutes
02:33to play an actual game.
02:35The game is super simple to get the hang of.
02:37All you have to do is match three pieces
02:40of the same color and shape,
02:41and then you just have to get more points
02:43than your opponents.
02:44And the great thing is you get to play people
02:46from all over the world.
02:48And like I said, it's a great game to play
02:49when you have a couple of minutes to spare every day.
02:52There's even diamond boosters too,
02:54will give you extra power ups and things like this.
02:57And it's really, really great to use these
02:59to actually beat your opponent.
03:01And then, like I said,
03:02when you actually beat your opponent,
03:04you get really addictive to just play another game again,
03:06especially with all of the other kinds of boosters
03:09and things like that.
03:10What a really, really awesome inside of this game.

03:49But then moving on to the second big change
03:51is all to do with the screen technology
03:53that's gonna be in this iPhone 17 slim.
03:55So what's most likely going to happen
03:57is this new kind of iPhone,
03:59it's going to be a screen size of 6.65 inches.
04:03And if you know your iPhone maths already,
04:05you will know this is just slightly smaller
04:07than say the current iPhone sort of 15 plus
04:11or the iPhone 15 Pro Max that we have at the moment.
04:13It's 0.1 of an inch smaller or there about
04:16because obviously at the moment it's 6.78, this is 6.65.
04:20So it's slightly smaller there,
04:23what we're gonna have with that.
04:24But like I said, the screen technology is going to change.
04:26What you've got to remember,
04:27this slim phone is not going to be a pro iPhone lineup.
04:32It's basically an enhanced version of the iPhone 17.
04:36And as you see from this chart here,
04:37the iPhone 17 is still going to exist in 2025.
04:42And the slim, like I keep saying,
04:43is going to replace the likes of say the iPhone 16 plus,
04:47the iPhone 15 plus kind of range.
04:49The iPhone 15 plus series is gonna completely go
04:50a brand new sort of advanced version of that.
04:53But the other difference though with this screen
04:55is that it's also gonna be one of the first iPhones
04:57out there to be a non-pro iPhone,
05:00but will actually have pro motion display,
05:02what is really exciting to see.
05:04This has only been exclusive for anything
05:06with a pro name next to it.
05:07So this slim model is also gonna get a pro display,
05:11what is absolutely awesome to see.
05:13We've been told that the actual display
05:15is also far less reflective.
05:17It will have a kind of a brand new kind of layer skin
05:19over the top of it, and it kind of anti-reflects that.
05:22So you'll be able to see your screen even more clearer,
05:24what is really, really good to see there.
05:26But overall, like I said,
05:27imagine what you've got with an iPhone sort of 15 pro max,
05:31or say like I said, iPhone 15 plus,
05:33just slightly smaller there in the actual screen side,
05:35but obviously far thinner as we talked about already
05:38with the actual design.
05:39But next of all, something else that's gonna be changing
05:41is underneath the hood of the actual iPhone itself.
05:45And before we start talking about cameras
05:46and everything there,
05:47because you'll see how this relates in a minute,
05:48it does look like, like I said,
05:50that TSMC are actually looking to make
05:52a two nanometer process for their SOC going forward,
05:56what's gonna go inside the likes of say the A19
05:59and the A19 pro.
06:00And just in case you're wondering,
06:02it does look like it's gonna be just a standard A19
06:05inside of his phone.
06:06Like I said, again, it is replacing the likes of the iPhone
06:0916 plus, the 15 plus, you know, 14 plus,
06:12it's replacing that phone.
06:14It is not fully a pro iPhone this phone's going to be.
06:17So it's not gonna get the pro light kind of chipset
06:20inside of it, so it won't get the A19 pro.
06:23That's what we're hearing at the moment,
06:24according to Ice Universe from this leak right here.
06:27Don't get me wrong, the A19 is still gonna be super powerful
06:31and it's gonna be even faster than probably the likes
06:33of say an M2 MacBook Air that we have right now,
06:36all in the size of an iPhone.
06:38And you can even see here that obviously with RAM amounts,
06:40it's gonna be slightly smaller than the pro line,
06:43that it's only gonna get eight gigabytes of RAM,
06:45what's still more than enough,
06:46but you can also do everything with say Apple intelligence
06:49and all of those great features.
06:50And like I said before,
06:51we're gonna probably get really good battery life
06:53because this chip is nice and efficient.
06:55It's also far more cooler than the chips
06:57that we have right now, like the A17 pro exists
07:00in the iPhone 15 pro and the iPhone 15 pro max.
07:03So no need to worry there.
07:04And we've seen evidence of this with TSMC,
07:07with the likes of say the M4.
07:09Obviously that is made on a three nanometer process,
07:12but a new version of that,
07:13and that's keeping nice and cool in a thin design.
07:15So there was a lot of confidence there that going forwards
07:18with this new slim design iPhone,
07:20that we're gonna have a fast, efficient A19 inside of it,
07:23paired with eight gigabytes of RAM too.
07:26Then next of all, let's talk about the biggest change.
07:28It's the most obvious one on the back of this iPhone,
07:30that's all to do with the camera.
07:32So the cameras are gonna be relocated on the back here,
07:35looking very similar, I'd say to the pixel kind of line.
07:38They're gonna be like in a bar going across
07:39and this will work with say with spatial vision
07:42things like this,
07:43because obviously they have to have the actual cameras
07:44kind of sort of a vertical, horizontal line.
07:47They can't be diagonal.
07:48So this is really, really good here.
07:49But what I would say with this camera set up on the back,
07:53it's either gonna be a double or triple
07:55like these renders that you can see right here.
07:57But what I say is it probably won't have the best cameras
08:00inside of this phone.
08:02Like I said, this phone is all about how it looks
08:04and design wise.
08:06And probably with this,
08:07it's probably just gonna be like something
08:09like a dual 48 megapixel camera system on the back.
08:12So kind of a 48 megapixel ultra wide
08:15and 48 megapixel kind of standard wide sort of lens
08:19on the rear here,
08:20very similar to what we're guessing would say
08:22the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 plus this year,
08:25where it's gonna be a 48 megapixel wide
08:27and also 48 megapixel ultra wide too.
08:30So expect something very similar there,
08:32but obviously it will be an enhanced version of those.
08:35So what I'm saying is if you're expecting
08:36kind of like a 10 times telephoto zoom,
08:39this is probably not going to happen.
08:40There might be like a 12 megapixel one stuck on the back,
08:43potentially on the back,
08:44but it probably only got to say a three times zoom
08:47or five times zoom.
08:48Whereas say the pro versions of the iPhone 17 next year
08:52would have an even better sort of telephoto,
08:54better zoom capability.
08:55And the camera lenses in that would be superior
08:58to what we're getting here.
08:59But the main difference is that design is changing
09:01to this bar kind of design.
09:03And also very likely that the front selfie camera
09:06could also be changing.
09:08And this could be a 24 megapixel camera.
09:10And finally, this might actually be kind of like a pill
09:14sort of circle design now,
09:15far smaller dynamic island than we have right now.
09:18And maybe Apple could put the face ID
09:21under sort of the screen kind of technology,
09:23hide it away there.
09:24And that would be really, really cool to see.
09:26But we'll just have to wait and see here
09:28as more leaks and rumors come out for this iPhone.
09:31But then for the price then,
09:33well, the good news is Ice Universe
09:35has given us a rough idea of what the price
09:36is gonna be on this iPhone 2.
09:38As you can see right here,
09:40it's gonna cost around about 1,299 US dollars.
09:45And this would be for the base model.
09:47And do remember guys,
09:48this would actually effectively be more expensive
09:50than the likes of say the iPhone 17 Pro Max
09:54would probably actually have more RAM in it,
09:56have the A19 Pro inside of it,
09:58be more superior in lots and lots of different ways,
10:01but it would actually cost a little bit less than the slim.
10:04But though guys, before you start throwing out and going,
10:07well, how's that possible?
10:07Apple are not going to release say the slim iPhone
10:09to be more expensive than the Pro iPhone
10:12and then yet have less kind of tech specs inside of it.
10:15Well, I hate to say this,
10:16Apple have done this in the past.
10:18So if you go back many years ago,
10:20I'm talking about 15, 16 years ago,
10:23we used to have the MacBook.
10:24This was that plastic white unibody
10:26or even before the unibody.
10:28And we had also the MacBook Air
10:30and we also had the MacBook Pro.
10:32And funny enough, the MacBook was obviously the cheapest.
10:36It was the plastic white unibody one.
10:38And yet that was more powerful than the MacBook Air.
10:41Yes, it was cheaper.
10:42Then we also had the likes of the MacBook Pro,
10:46the 13 inch model.
10:48And then that model was well,
10:49even more powerful than the MacBook
10:51and also the MacBook Air,
10:53but yet the MacBook Air was more expensive
10:56than the base configuration of the MacBook Pro.
10:59And that might sound really, really odd to you.
11:01But the main thing is the thing is
11:02because Apple were promoting that the MacBook Air was slim.
11:06It was sleek.
11:07It had really, really cool kind of design to it
11:09and that you're paying for that kind of thinness
11:11and that kind of new design kind of technology
11:14that they had just bought out at that time.
11:16And I think this is a repeat here
11:17where Apple are doing exactly the same
11:19with the iPhone 17 slim.
11:21It's gonna cost more than a Pro Max,
11:23yet still it's not gonna have
11:25all the best technologies inside of it.
11:27But the main trade, obviously,
11:28you're getting that new design.
11:30And also at the same time is that you're getting
11:32a sort of a slimmer phone and you know,
11:34you can show this off.
11:35That's gonna be the main kind of sort of showcase
11:38of this phone.
11:39Don't expect it to be the most powerful iPhone
11:41out there on launch.
11:42But like I said,
11:43things still could change in the future
11:45with specs and things like this.
11:47But like I said,
11:48this has happened in history before with Apple
11:50where they've done such a thing like this.
11:52So just be warned that that could happen.
11:53If you still want the best iPhone out there,
11:55it probably will be the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
11:58But really guys,
