00:24They rarely give interviews and are pretty reclusive.
00:27But these women were the biggest stars growing up, for a whole generation of Americans, so
00:32the interest in them is still huge.
00:34We talked to 19 sources who know Mary-Kate and Ashley to find out what they're really
00:39like and why they're so secretive about their lives.
00:42Plus, are they actually happier now that they spend most of their time out of the spotlight?
00:46Employees who have worked with the girls have said that their behaviour can sometimes be
00:51a little odd.
00:52They're very unconfrontational and speak so quietly at times it's hard to hear them.
00:57And some even say that you have to sign an NDA to even interview for a position at The Row.
01:03But the girls have completely changed since their partying days of the 90s and lead quieter
01:08lives now.
01:09They're homebodies, often in the Hamptons, and we hear from sources that both women now
01:14don't actually smoke.
01:15What's interesting to me is they know who they are and they know what makes them happy
01:20and they put up boundaries and they don't compromise about that.
01:23They've seemingly found happiness following their own path, which is something I think
01:27we can all learn from.
