00:00To follow up on that, though, the numbers, the reduction in the number of importers we
00:05see now, is that a result of those multilateral talks that you worked on with our partners
00:09in Latin America and South America, or is that because of the executive actions the
00:13President took to tighten up access to the border?
00:16I think it can be both, Anne.
00:18But it's clear that the Latin American countries, the northern tri-regional countries,
00:23those numbers have significantly diminished.
00:26That is factual.
00:29There are many countries, many individuals from countries around the globe, who find
00:34their way to declare asylum at the southern border.
00:37But the particular percentage among those northern tri-regional countries has been diminished.
00:43Those are just the facts.
00:45There's also several – probably several dozen members of the House Democratic Caucus
00:49at this point who have not taken the additional step of endorsing Harris as the new presidential nominee.
00:54Can you speak to how – what the thinking is within the party at this point, and is
00:58there enough of an open process for people who do not necessarily think that Harris should
01:02be the nominee?
01:03Vice President Harris will be the Democratic nominee for president.
01:07Whether people put it in a press release or not, that is going to happen.
01:12She has locked up the delegates and the support.
01:14We look forward to helping and being a partner in this process with her.
01:20I know the vice chair and I have had conversations with her as a Californian.
01:26There's a lot of pride among us as well.
01:29We look forward to her officially securing the nomination and the next 105 days ahead.
