00:00I would like to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Minister of Agriculture for this record-breaking initiative.
00:08I would like to thank all of you who have come from J&K and Uttarakhand.
00:16We are directly benefiting from this initiative in both the states.
00:20This year, the J&K project, which had been going on for many years,
00:27has been allocated Rs. 3694 crores.
00:38In addition to this, as you are aware,
00:44we are also working on expanding the number of new projects.
00:50For example, we are working on the DPR project,
00:53and we are working on expanding the project from Baramulla to Puri.
00:58There are two more lines there.
01:01We are also working on the construction of four terminals from Bargaon to Baramulla.
01:09We are also working on the construction of four stations.
01:13Bargaon station, Jammu and Tabi station,
01:17Srimata Vaishnodevi Katra station and Udhampur station.
01:21The work is going on very well at all four places.
01:28This project is almost at the completion stage.
01:32Only the 17 km section,
01:36the T1 tunnel, which is between Katra and Riyasi,
01:39that work is going on very fast.
01:43The Chenab bridge, the complete Sangaldan,
01:47has already been opened.
01:49From Sangaldan to Riyasi, the commissioner railway safety certificate has been completed.
01:56The dream of Jammu and Kashmir over the years has now come true.
02:03Soon, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this project,
02:11and we will move this project forward.
02:15Similarly, a very good allocation has been made in Uttarakhand this time.
02:20In the 2024-25 budget for Uttarakhand,
02:24there is an allocation of Rs. 5131 crores.
02:32And the very important project for us,
02:38the Karnaprayag project,
02:40this project has a tunnel of 213 km.
02:48171 km has been completed.
02:52And the rest of the work is also going on very fast.
02:55And you may not have this information,
03:01I would like to give,
03:03that the two tunnel boring machines are installed in it,
03:06that is, the machine that makes the tunnel,
03:09which goes under the whole mountain,
03:11and keeps going inside and inside while digging the tunnel.
03:15The names of these TBMs are Shiv and Shakti.
03:20One TBM is Shiv and the other is Shakti.
03:25Tunnel boring machine.
03:27These two tunnel boring machines named Shiv and Shakti are running.
03:30The work is going on very fast.
03:32This work will be completed in mid-2026.
03:37And this will be a record in itself,
03:40in such a short time,
03:41such a big and difficult work.
03:43Because you all know that in the Himalayas,
03:46the Himalayas are a young mountain.
03:50And if you do any tunneling work in the Himalayas,
03:55there are different kinds of challenges.
