00:00My music is quite a funny one because like I draw inspiration from a wide pool of sounds
00:06You know, I mean whether it's electronic music whether it's rap R&B Afro beat
00:11I'm a piano whether it's indie, you know
00:14so my music is very much like a
00:17Big mix of that like you can't really go and listen to anything and be like, oh, that's that
00:23And the whole thing sounds the same, you know, like my song we move is not the same as Zidane for example
00:30Which isn't the same as 26, you know, so
00:33For me is all about trying to just not pigeonhole myself and my music to one specific sound
00:40When I know that I like a lot of sounds, you know, I mean, so yeah
00:44I draw a lot of inspiration from a lot of different artists, you know
00:49Locally and outside of Scotland as well, you know, so it seemed to have worked well for me so far and it keeps me
00:57Happy and keeps me enjoying making music
01:00Yeah, so my catalogue is very long like and it just comes with when you've been making music for so long
01:06You know, like I think my first project I released when I was 18
01:10Do you know I mean and that was like what 11 12 odd years ago?
01:13Do you know I mean and obviously with that with life things happen, you know, you grow you
01:20experience things you
01:21Use you go through things you see things happen to other people and that shapes the outcome of what
01:28You put out especially when someone for someone like me. My music is kind of like a diary, you know, like each project I
01:36Can pinpoint to a specific part of my life? Do you know what I mean?
01:41And and yeah, so that's really really it's really helped like life has helped me to become the artist that I am now
01:49Do you know I mean just well, like I say my music is on my diary, you know
01:53So making Nova's that was start. I started that process from you know
02:00Becoming a dad
02:03You know and then prior to that we had the m4 EP which was the birth of the m4 brand in
02:10In Glasgow, sorry, you know and the EP really really
02:14Showed that we've like pulling in different features from different people working with brand new
02:19Producers and then I sent off lost causes was for me taking two years out of music and feeling like I was a lost cause
02:25Do you know I mean?
02:26So yeah
02:27all these kind of like life experiences is what shaped and help my music and helped me as an artist to be where I am now
