00:00A man was found dead in the streets of San Juan after he was drowned in Umapauna Creek.

00:06Marks de Lazar has this report.

00:12This afternoon, the rescue operation in San Juan City became widespread

00:16when the flood reached a critical point even for residents who are already used to the flood.

00:22In Barangay San Perfecto, children, women and the elderly were first to be rescued.

00:28Adults were rushing to the flood to get their belongings.

00:33But some residents are still not leaving even though the flood is already on the second floor.

00:39Are you not going to leave yet?

00:41Not yet, not yet.

00:42They have already prepared the flood based on their experience in Ondoy and other areas.

00:47The flood in San Juan is coming from the higher part of Quezon City.

00:52And you can see the water rising from the top to the bottom of San Juan.

01:04Because of this flood, many residents are affected.

01:09It rose yesterday and this morning, except for this small river.

01:14They say that a neighbor of theirs was hit by a flash flood in the creek yesterday

01:19and was already on its way home.

01:21The dam was damaged there. That's where it came from.

01:24The incident is not yet confirmed by San Juan CDRRMO.

01:28As of yesterday, many people are evacuating to San Juan Gym.

01:33We evacuated to the riverside.

01:37It's been a year already.

01:42Residents of Barangay Rosario, Pasig City also evacuated.
