Farnborough 2024: Airbus and Boeing showcase fuel efficiency, range and bigger baggage space

Aviation giants Airbus and Boeing are showing off their latest tech and innovations at the 2024 Farnborough Air Show.

00:00Wings and fuel engines propulsion are the two areas where we can make the aircraft more

00:25efficient.

00:26So by improving the physics of the wing we can burn less fuel and then the second key

00:31part of our technology development in Airbus is then about developing how to burn different

00:39fuels like for example sustainable aviation fuel and even hydrogen on the next generation

00:44of aircraft.

00:56The 777X is a next generation of the 777 and one of the most noticeable evolutions of the

01:21cabin space is the architecture within the cabin.

01:24We're offering two architecture types the A ceiling architecture creating a greater

01:29sense of height within the cabin and the B ceiling architecture which offers a greater

01:33sense of space or width within the cabin.

01:41Furthermore to enhance the passenger experience even more getting more visibility to the skies

01:47we've instituted larger windows that are situated more high on the fuselage offering

01:52that greater view to the outside.
