⚙ My PLA Simplify3D print settings (Holder & Rail):

· 3600mm/minute (60mm/second)
· hotend 185°C | bed 50°C
· 250 micron | infill 15% (100% recommended for a rail)
· 3 top layers | 3 bottom layers | 3 outline perimeters
· brass nozzle 0,35mm
· extrusion width 0,42mm
· retraction distance 1,50mm (restart distance -0,20mm)
· retraction speed 3600mm/minute (60mm/second)
· extrusion multiplier 0,99
· coasting 0,30mm
· wipe distance off
· cooling fan 100% (from layer 2)
· only support needed for a holder
· no raft

· 1800mm/minute (30mm/second)
· hotend 185°C | bed 50°C
· 100 micron | infill 100%
· 6 top layers | 6 bottom layers | 6 outline perimeters

· retraction distance 1,50mm (restart distance -0,20mm)
· retraction speed 3600mm/minute (60mm/second)
· extrusion multiplier 0,95
· coasting 0,30mm
· wipe distance off
· cooling fan 100% (from layer 2)
· no support
· no raft

00:00Can all drinks stay inside this 3D printed serving tray?
00:06First part, the rail.
00:09Second part, the holder.
00:13You need three of these for this version.
00:15The inside diameter is 70 mm.
00:18Here is a stop that prevents the holders from falling off.
00:21And rings to add colors.
00:24Let's slide the holders on the rail.
00:30And put the rings inside the grooves.
00:33No glue is needed.
00:37It's completely assembled now without any glued parts.
00:43Let's fill it with some drinks.
00:48And serve them.
00:53I use this tray at work for a year now.
01:00And so far, not a drink has fallen off this tray.
