Die Gednaken Sind Frei (Thoughts are free) - Pure Tonune Traditional Cover

Walther von der Vogelweide composed the song Die Gedanken Sind Frei in 1229. Translated from German the title reads "Thoughts are free".

The lyrics were kept but the tune has been lost overtime, so it is not known what the original tune was. So I found different pieces and tweaked to the version I liked. Every second verse I added an octave to highish notes. What do you think of the effect?
