00:00The Olympics is kicking off across the channel in Paris and for Londoners it
00:06could be worth visiting so we've put together a guide on the best way to get
00:11there. Those heading to the French capital to cheer on Team GB can get
00:15there a multitude of ways. Last-minute Eurostar trips are expensive, sitting
00:20around £150 to £200 each way for the opening ceremony. Flights to Paris
00:28aren't much cheaper either however options are available from Gatwick, Heathrow
00:32and Stansted as well. For Olympic fans taking a slightly more scenic route it's
00:38possible to drive via the ferry ports at Dover or even hop on the shuttle train
00:43from Folkestone. There only cars are charged and money could be saved per
00:48passenger although the drive down to Paris after may take a while. Travellers
00:54should also make sure they carry an Olympic digital QR code but for more on
00:59that make sure to head to GOV.UK. Tickets for events are still for sale on
01:04the official Paris Olympics website. There is still availability for events
01:09such as football, table tennis, badminton and volleyball as well as many others
01:14including gymnastics. Prices for tickets start at 30 euros but do rise up into
01:20the hundreds. There is also limited availability for track and athletic
01:25events which is being held in northern Paris in the region of Saint-Denis and
01:30is under a different section on the Olympics website. For more sport news here
