00:00Hey, so it's the final moments of race 14.
00:03We're getting ready to cross the finish line here in just a couple of minutes.
00:06Trimming the kite and really just excited for the end of this whole journey.
00:11I think we're all feeling a little bit of mixed emotions, just a lot of joy and
00:15excitement.
00:16This is a big moment to cross the final finish line of the last race.
00:19But also it means the end of everything too, and
00:22I think we all know we're gonna miss each other.
00:24And so a lot of joy, a lot of excitement, some sadness.
00:28A little bit tense because we're in second place.
00:30Perseverance is just right there.
00:32So we're really trying to hold our position and do well and
00:35finish really strong for each other.

01:56We started in Portsmouth September last year when we were on the world together,
02:01and now we are seven minutes to the finish.

02:21Yeah!
02:24All right, Canada.

02:34June!
02:36We hear you.
02:39Well done, my mate.
02:42Well done.
02:43Thank you.
02:47Thank you so much for letting me come on your white boat.
02:52Oh!
03:03Two, three, this is two, five.
03:04Go ahead.
03:05Two, five.
03:06Just wanted to say congratulations on this race.
03:09It was a pleasure racing against you guys.
03:15Well done.
03:17Well done, you.
03:19What a race, eh?
03:20That was incredibly stressful.
03:22I think I lost ten years of my life in the last week, but Jesus, what an ending.
03:27I think we gave the viewers at home everything they ever wanted.
03:31Was that enough jeopardy?
03:34That was insane.
03:35What just happened, we just crossed the finish line on race 14.
03:40I mean, after 11 months being in the sea, 14 races, we as a crew have crossed every single latitude of the globe on a sailing boat.
03:51I mean, a lifetime dream has come true now.
03:58I'm so proud of everybody on this boat.
04:00We've come so far, grown so much together.
04:04I have a million butterflies in my stomach at the moment.
04:09I don't know what else to say apart from I'm going to enjoy this huge achievement.
04:14I will.
04:16Thank you, Meredith.
04:19Oh, girl, seriously.
04:23Oh, man.
04:25It's huge.
04:26How good is this?
04:28Yeah, so that's it.
04:31The race is over.
04:33The insanely tense finish.
04:36I don't actually know who won.
04:38Perseverance right behind us, bearing down on us at quite some speed, came in with the breeze in a good angle.
04:44I don't know if we just managed to hold on to it.
04:48But, yeah, we've come third overall, which is amazing.
04:51It's more than I was ever expecting when I started this race.
04:54All the welders have come home, too.
04:56Yeah, it's a bizarre feeling.
05:00It's a bizarre, like, yeah, I don't know.
05:03Like, you never thought it would end at one point.
05:06Yeah, now it is.
05:08It's just crazy.
05:09Like, absolutely crazy.
05:10I've been so, so lucky to have the team I've got.
05:17Did you guys have a go?
05:19But it's been quite amazing to do so well.
05:24Yeah.
05:26Did you guys expect to do so well?
05:28No.
05:29We thought we might maybe finish sort of mid-sleep and maybe get, like, one or two podiums.
05:38So, yeah, we're pretty chuffed with how everything's gone.
05:42Yeah, it was quite emotional.
05:45It was quite emotional.
05:46Yeah, and it's the last time we're going to sail together.
05:48Yeah.
05:49Maybe ever.
05:50Aw.
05:52I think we're a pretty good team, so, you know, we work well together.
