SNCF train services to 'soon' return to normal, despite delays

According to French railway company SNCF, progress has been made in partially restoring high-speed train services after Friday's coordinated arson attacks ahead of the Olympics opening ceremony.

00:22The results of yesterday's attacks are proof. With the 200 TGVs that were removed out of
00:29the 750, 150,000 passengers out of the 250,000 left to travel yesterday. Thanks to the SNCF
00:39teams that were mobilised during the night, and despite the weather conditions that were
00:43difficult to work in, they managed to repair a lot of elements of the TGV network today.
00:50According to a company press release, train services will be patchy over the weekend and
00:55customers should expect delays of up to two hours. French authorities are actively investigating
01:02the sabotage, but state no suspects have yet been identified.
