00:00Public issues, which are very important. The real issues are these seats, 2 seats, 4 seats,
00:175 seats, special seats. I don't give any importance to them. These public issues are very important.
00:24And I will tell you only one thing about that. First of all, the system is completely collapsed.
00:30Thirdly, the important thing is that the economy in the country, this economy can never be good
00:38until you take accountability in this. Because people have more money than the state.
00:45That is, if someone finds out that there is so much money and so many dollars of IPPs have been going
00:52and have been going for so many years, then you think how much wealth will be there.
00:56So if, and then going on and on, that progressive budget, such a budget, this issue of IPPs arose.
01:02So now see, even in the Supreme Court, Mr. Gauri Jadhav said that he is going.
01:08And obviously now in this, more than the agreements of IPPs, I am interested in the fact that
01:14there are two personalities who are behind them. Do they come in front of us in the name of personalities
01:19and are they taken and told? And this government, does its negotiation team,
01:24when it comes to negotiations on IPPs, does it even tell whose IPP it is and how much money it has received
01:31in so many years? How much money has gone to them since 1994? And whose IPPs are there?
01:38So if you open these IPPs, then the system is gone. The whole system is gone.
01:43And in that, the issue is not this. The issue is that you have been taking money for so many years,
01:48zero, making electricity, then in which account did you keep taking it? And on top of that,
01:52so the thing is this and accountability. I told you that accountability and this is that,
01:57in that, which I had said earlier that NAHEL has made people sit in such places,
02:03economic hitmen. If you read the rest of his books, then it is also there that NAHEL people
02:08go and sit in one place. And someone told me a very strange thing that 40 billion,
02:14now look at this figure, 40 billion, in 2008-09, 40 billion cash was lying near the Pakistan Steel Mill,
02:2640 billion. The program that I had done, VIEWS ON NEWS, on which I had taken a sum of money
02:33in 2014 and all this was lying there. At that time, 40 billion was cash and 40 billion cash,
02:4240 billion scrap. And after that, that, so that means, after that, I had taken a sum of money
02:49in 2014 and all this was lying there. At that time, 40 billion cash was lying there. And after that,
02:54that, so that means, 80 was this and 40 billion was in some other account. In total, 120 billion,
03:02at that time, I will show you the figures tomorrow, so 120 billion rupees were there,
03:07okay, near them, near the Steel Mill. In this, I am not talking about their land,
03:12nor am I talking about their infrastructure. I am talking about cash and scrap. These two,
03:1680 billion was this and 40 billion was in some other account. But after that, after two years,
03:21that Steel Mill gets bankrupted. After getting bankrupted, more money is given to it and
03:26a bail-out package is given to it. And the bail-out package says that this has become
03:31bankrupt, all the money has disappeared. And after that, it gets bankrupted again.
03:35Then it is given a bail-out. So the question is, brother, that the money that started from there
03:42was taken to such a place that it was given to its relatives, that there is a loss,
03:50otherwise it cannot run. Brother, the issue is that it started from there, where it was
03:55on a rise, then how did it start getting destroyed? Who ate its money? This is a game of 10-15-20
04:00years. This was our great flight, Steel Mill. Okay, now these institutions have become
04:08a white elephant. But how did it become a white elephant? And if you don't catch those people,
04:13then they will start somewhere else. And this is economic terrorism. This is economic terrorism.
04:18This is the second kind of terrorism. I always say one thing that once a bomb explodes there
04:23and people die. Bullets are fired at people. In this economic terrorism, people die every
04:31day. Every day, the 25 crore people of this country die. They die in the morning, they
04:40die in the afternoon, they die in the evening. Because they are in a phase of permanent terrorism.
04:45So until you don't catch the economic terrorists, the crocodiles, then the same thing has happened
04:50to IPPs. And the amazing thing is, now let's see which camel sits. But I told you that
04:56now people in Pakistan, those political figures should come forward and the political parties
05:01should also come forward who are competent and perform and are doers. The concept of
05:06the Senate in our field. The ticket of the Senate is not to sell a ticket for 10 crores.
05:11This was not the concept. This was that you bring the best people from your field, from
05:16education, from this, from that, bring them and make them the best of the best. This was
05:21about the mindset of the people of Pakistan and the country. So I don'tously accept this.
05:28If someone is interviewed when he is talking, to this and to that effect, how much effect
05:37will this affect the common man. So I do not like that. These are not petitions or posters
05:44I don't think there are any petitions, or references, or special sessions, or women's issues.
05:50These are not issues. Issues are completely different.
05:53And that is security. That is what I want to repeat again and again.
05:57And in that, in security, there is also social unrest.
06:01And you see, when social unrest spreads, then how does it affect your society?
06:06The news that is coming daily, and what is happening daily,
06:09and I am here, and my request is to the Army Chief, General Asim Munir.
06:15On one thing, directly, this is my request to all of you.
06:20Directly, in schools, in colleges, these children, our young girls,
06:27and leave that too, in shops, back and forth.
06:31What is this ICE? ICE.
06:34Which is everywhere, and in a very large number,
06:40our children, our youth,
06:43they have a proper, according to a plan, they have become addicted to ICE.
06:55And I am surprised, I did not understand that it is so widespread,
07:00so many people have become addicted to ICE.
07:03They have become addicted to it.
07:05And young children, so let us focus on ICE,
07:11where many other issues are going on.
07:14This turmoil, this system, this whole thing in Pakistan,
07:21this is a personality of that big chessboard,
07:24which is being completely disturbed and fluttering on the international level.
07:31Keep in mind that Pakistan was free,
07:37and August is coming, so it is obvious that may Allah bring peace in the month of August,
07:42and our day of freedom is coming.
07:44But keep in mind that Pakistan's freedom is after the second world war.
07:54And after the second world war, many countries gave freedom,
07:59that is, it went on, from 1947, then you start,
08:03then in the 50s, in the 60s, the different colonies,
08:07one empire fell, and then the second one stood, and now that is also shattering.
08:12But I am just saying that this system is shattering,
08:16post second world war, in which you see the United Nations completely useless,
08:22you are passing some rules, and no one is listening to it in the world,
08:26from Kashmir to Gaza, you were on the edge of the world,
08:30so it has become a debating club.
08:33But what I am saying, I just want to say that this time,
08:38at this time, a chessboard has completely turned upside down,
08:42that is, this post second world war order,
08:46it is going in some other direction,
08:49which direction it is, it is also not clear,
08:51but it is decided that it has turned upside down.
08:53Now how does a new chessboard get made,
08:56in the next year, two years, one and a half years, it is being made rapidly.
09:00Now it is being made in such a way,
09:02now see that, I am saying that this is not the era of Alexander the Great,
09:07this is not the era of Julius Caesar,
09:11this is 2024, and 2024 has also passed,
09:15and more than half a year has passed,
09:18and you start from October, from 7th October,
09:21and the whole of 2024 has crossed beyond mid,
09:25and we could not stop the killing of the common people in Gaza,
09:30neither the world of Islam could stop it,
09:33nor the human rights in our country, and the rest of the country,
09:40the whole world could not stop it,
09:43and the killing of the common people is still going on,
09:45and today there has been another attack on the school,
09:48more children have been martyred, more people have been martyred,
09:51and tomorrow, I have told you,
09:56the whole system is on a global level,
10:0240 families are playing with 24 crore people,
10:07if the price of money falls, let it fall,
10:10your money will be safe, we will pay you in dollars,
10:14every coming government kept the people of this country
10:17in debt and kept up the lack of electricity,
10:20most of all, 130 IPPs were signed by the Muslim League
10:25from 2013 to 2018,
10:28the second number is Raja Parvez Ashraf Sahib,
10:32who is also known as Raja Rental due to these corrupt agreements,
10:38other ministers of the People's Party,
10:41and the Prime Minister gave permission to 35 companies to produce electricity,
10:46in such agreements, justice was not left behind,
10:49Imran Khan's government also gave 30 companies a chance to make money,
10:56how is this disgusting game of corruption played,
11:01and who all are involved in it,
11:04In a growing country, where the loyal government of this country
11:08is promising to fix everything for the loyal citizens,
11:12the provincial governments are promising to provide solar plants
11:17to the citizens for free and easily,
11:20but the people are not ready to trust any promise of the government,
11:27the people are not ready to trust any promise of the government,
11:34then a few days ago, Ashrafia had a representative
11:37and he gave a speech,
11:39in which he put the black story of his business, government and political community
11:44in front of the entire nation.
11:49I am pointing out the former president and former administrator
11:54of the Indian Electricity Association,
11:57Mr. Gauhar Ijaz,
12:01Mr. Gauhar has made many horrific revelations in his tweet,
12:05that the real reason for the unbearable bill of electricity,
12:09are those corrupt agreements,
12:11which different governments have made with IPPs,
12:13i.e. Independent Power Producers.
12:15Under these agreements,
12:17if the capacity of a private power plant is to generate 100 MW electricity,
12:22then the government may get 10 MW electricity from it,
12:26or 20 MW,
12:27but it will have to pay 100 MW.
12:31And that too in dollars.
12:34Mr. Gauhar Ijaz has highlighted the shocking details,
12:40and also said that the government is buying electricity
12:43for Rs 750 per unit from a power plant under the IPPs agreement,
12:48and Rs 200 per unit from a coal power plant,
12:53whereas Rs 50 per unit from a solar and wind power plant.
13:00According to Mr. Gauhar Ijaz,
13:02all these power plants are operating at less than 20%.
13:06And the NIPPs have been paid Rs 1.95 trillion.
13:11The remaining Rs 160 billion of NIPPs are being approved.
13:17The government is paying Rs 150 billion to a power plant,
13:22whose load factor is less than 15%.
13:26And apart from this,
13:27the government is paying Rs 140 billion to a power plant,
13:31whose load factor is only 15%.
13:34Rs 120 billion is being paid to a power plant,
13:39which is operating at a load factor of 17%.
13:43The government is paying Rs 100 billion to a plant,
13:46which is operating at a load factor of 22%.
13:49According to Mr. Gauhar Ijaz,
13:51the government is paying Rs 370 billion to three power plants,
13:57which are operating at a load factor of 15%.
14:00The only solution to this is that there should be no capacity payments.
14:04The NIPPs should only be paid for electricity production,
14:09and should also be treated like other businesses.
14:1352% of the NIPPs are owned by the government,
14:18while 28% are owned by the private sector.
14:23There are 40 families in Pakistan,
14:26which are producing electricity in this country.
14:30Due to the corrupt agreements made with these 40 families,
14:35today a common citizen is forced to buy one unit of electricity for Rs 60.
14:42In this situation, we have already made a few videos.
14:46I made a video about 7-8 months ago,
14:50and one a month ago.
14:52And I also mentioned these things in it.
14:54But Mr. Ahsan Tanveer also held a press conference.
14:58There are tweets of Mr. Gauhar.
15:00He also spoke.
15:02The President of the Kurangi Association of Trade Industry,
15:06Mr. Johar Ali Kandhari also held a press conference.
15:10He also spoke to a lot of people.
15:12So we thought we should make a fresh video on this.
15:15We collected some data on this.
15:17And after that, we are having this conversation with you.
15:22Actually, it is worth seeing who opened the door of corruption.
15:30According to Kamran Khan,
15:33this is an amazing story of corruption.
15:36This story begins in the 90s.
15:39The government was of the People's Party.
15:41And Respected Benazir Bhutto,
15:43for the first time,
15:44made an agreement to provide 3,000 MW electricity with IPPs.
15:48Then this process started.
15:51And after that, every coming government
15:53kept the people of this country in debt
15:55and kept fulfilling the lack of electricity.
15:58Most of all,
15:59130 IPPs of the Muslim League were made
16:03by the governments of 2013 to 2018.
16:06And often it is claimed that
16:09the Sharif family ended the corruption
16:12and removed the darkness from the country.
16:15But today,
16:16the reality of this claim is coming to light
16:19that the wealth of the people
16:21has gone into the pockets of the capitalists.
16:24The second number is Raja Parvez Ashraf.
16:28Due to these corrupt agreements,
16:31he is also known as Raja Rental.
16:34Raja Parvez Ashraf gave permission to 48 companies
16:39and achieved a lot.
16:41This is also a secret.
16:42Other ministers of the People's Party
16:45and the Prime Minister
16:46gave permission to 35 companies to produce electricity.
16:49In such contributions,
16:51the justice movement did not lag behind.
16:53Imran Khan's government also gave the opportunity
16:56to produce wealth to 30 companies.
16:59According to NEPRA,
17:01there are 101 IPPs in Pakistan.
17:06But in total,
17:08there are about 200 IPPs in the country.
17:11Now we will tell you the problems together.
17:14We told you the first problem,
17:16the capacity of payments.
17:18The second problem is overcapacity.
17:20We will also tell you what overcapacity is.
17:23Overcapacity is that
17:25there are resources to produce
17:2741,000 megawatts of electricity in the country.
17:30While the current need is
17:3230,000 to 31,000 megawatts of electricity.
17:35But in the distribution system of electricity distribution,
17:39only 22,000 megawatts of electricity
17:42is able to be taken elsewhere.
17:45In other words,
17:46even if load shedding is taking place,
17:48it does not mean that
17:50electricity is not being produced in the country.
17:53Electricity is much more than needed,
17:55but our system has not been upgraded.
17:58We do not have a transmission and distribution system.
18:03That is why electricity is not reaching you.
18:06And much more electricity is being produced
18:09than the need for electricity.
18:12Rather, electricity is not being produced,
18:15but the capacity to produce electricity is present.
18:18Electricity is being produced less,
18:20but its value is being fulfilled.
18:23As we told you,
18:24this is happening due to capacity payments.
18:26Now, most of the production IPPs
18:29are being made in this electricity.
18:32And it is written in their contracts
18:34that they are investing so much
18:36that the government will buy electricity from them.
18:39That is, take and pay clause.
18:41That is, we have the capacity,
18:43if you do not buy, then it is your problem.
18:46You will pay us.
18:48And even if the government does not take electricity from them,
18:51then the government will have to pay 80% of their production capacity.
18:57For example,
18:58if an IPP is making 100 MW electricity
19:01or has the capacity to produce electricity
19:04and the government is not buying from it,
19:07then the government will still have to pay
19:1080 MW of production capacity.
19:14If we look at it,
19:15the government pays IPPs more than 35,000 MW.
19:20While 22,000 MW of electricity
19:23is being sold to the private and industrial sectors.
19:27In this way,
19:28to meet the additional payment of 13,000 MW,
19:32the fee unit price is increased every day.
19:36The most interesting thing in this vicious cycle is that
19:39the IPPs did not invest a single penny from their pockets.
19:44Most companies made agreements with the government
19:47through their political influence.
19:50They took money from commercial banks,
19:52set up factories
19:53and took billions of rupees in the amount of capacity payments
19:56without producing electricity.
19:59In a few years,
20:00the real share of the banks was returned including interest.
20:03And now,
20:04even the bones of ordinary people are being squeezed.
20:08The next issue is of foreign exchange.
20:12Now, you will ask what is the relationship of forex with this?
20:15The first thing is that
20:18the payments that are being made to these IPPs
20:21are being made in dollars.
20:23Due to payment in dollars,
20:25when there is a decrease in the value of money,
20:28then these payments are affected.
20:31Now, where has the value of money come from?
20:35Where has the dollar gone?
20:38We have to make payments in dollars.
20:41The second problem of forex is that
20:44the funds that you are using,
20:46the LNG that you are using,
20:48or the coal that you are using,
20:50for these plants,
20:52that is also imported.
20:54And you are importing it in dollars.
20:56The dollar is going from the country.
20:59So, this is another issue that
21:01your foreign exchange reserves are also affected.
21:05You have to make payments in dollars,
21:08and the raw material is also in dollars.
21:10Now, if you understand that this is an IPP,
21:13which has a unit,
21:14the input is also in dollars,
21:17and the output is also in dollars.
21:20Now, when you spend so much foreign exchange on this,
21:27then a direct hit comes on your economy.
21:31How does a direct hit come?
21:33That your forex is being wasted.
21:35And on top of that, you are making excessive payments.
21:38You are not using that much electricity.
21:40Those things are not being used in your production.
21:42In your country, no industry is getting that thing,
21:45electricity is not available, power is not available,
21:47but you are giving money.
21:48Those excessive payments are happening.
21:50They are happening in forex.
21:52And you are spending the same money
21:54in any health sector, education sector,
21:56infrastructure development,
21:58which you are not able to do.
22:00Now, the next problem that is coming
22:02is the fifth problem of circular debt,
22:05which is actually the losses
22:07that are happening to you in transmission and distribution.
22:10Or the defaults, people are not making payments,
22:14there are line losses.
22:16All these payments are accumulating for you,
22:19which is invalid for you.
22:21Your business is not capable enough
22:24to stop electricity theft,
22:26to stop line losses,
22:28to improve the system of transmission and distribution,
22:32to manage it.
22:34You are not even trying to manage it.
22:36All these expenses are being put on the poor people
22:39and they are being taken away.
22:41Now, all these problems,
22:43which I have just highlighted,
22:45because of them,
22:47today, the common man is worried.
22:49Businessmen, traders, industrialists,
22:51everyone is screaming.
22:53The performance of IPPs has also
22:55exceeded our defense budget.
22:57Now, you can guess about it yourself,
23:00that people used to say that
23:02the defense budget is too much.
23:04The performance of IPPs has also
23:06exceeded the defense budget.
23:08But the government apparently shows
23:10that it is helpless.
23:12Its hands are tied because of
23:14international laws.
23:17The government has made agreements
23:19with NEPRA and IPPs.
23:21They have made agreements
23:23with some companies
23:25till 2057.
23:27So, in the next 33 years,
23:29these companies will be paid.
23:31Now, let's take a look at
23:33the performance of IPPs
23:35in the last 10 years.
23:37According to the Ministry of Employment,
23:39in the last 10 years,
23:41i.e. from 2013 to 2023,
23:43IPPs have been paid
23:45Rs. 8,344 billion.
23:47Rs. 8,344 billion.
23:49Rs. 8,344 billion.
23:51Rs. 8,344 billion.
23:53Rs. 8,344 billion.
23:55Rs. 8,344 billion.
23:57Rs. 8,344 billion.
23:59According to the documents,
24:01in the last financial year,
24:03IPPs have been paid
24:05Rs. 1,300 billion
24:07in the capacity payment.
24:09Whereas, in the next year,
24:11Rs. 2,010 billion will be paid.
24:13Now,
24:15let me tell you
24:17how this dirty game
24:19of corruption
24:21is played
24:23and who all are involved in it.
24:25This business of collecting billions
24:27without making electricity
24:29is played on the basis of
24:31some people and some people.
24:33Governments, ministries,
24:35officers, investors,
24:37engineers,
24:39everyone seems to be
24:41involved in it.
24:43Local capitalists and governments
24:45are on one side.
24:47You just need to know that
24:49the Asian Development Bank
24:51loaned $300 million to Pakistan
24:53for the construction of
24:55the Kurum Tangi Dam.
24:57And there was a condition
24:59that a special international
25:01firm would be loaned
25:03for consultation.
25:05Similarly, the condition
25:07of the Chashma Power Plant
25:09is that a special
25:11international firm
25:13would be loaned
25:15for the construction
25:17of the Kurum Tangi Dam.
25:19Now, the creditor
25:21records of these things
25:23are never revealed.
25:25But experts and
25:27investigative journalists
25:29who keep an eye on IPPs
25:31agree with the fact
25:33that the owners
25:35of many IPPs are
25:37declared as foreign capitalists.
25:41But in reality,
25:43they are Pakistanis
25:45and the real owners of the companies.
25:47The interesting thing is that
25:49all this corruption business
25:51is happening in dollars.
25:53And to some extent,
25:55this is the real problem.
25:57According to experts,
25:59we give 17% fixed returns
26:01only on equity.
26:03And it is the creditors
26:05who decide whether to
26:07generate electricity or not.
26:09According to some experts,
26:11it is not right to blame
26:13the current situation
26:15on IPPs.
26:17According to them,
26:19the government itself
26:21is a bigger stakeholder
26:23than the IPPs.
26:25Because many IPPs
26:27are run by the government itself.
26:29And the interesting thing is
26:31that I talked to many people
26:33and they said that
26:35a private IPP is running
26:37a power plant with
26:39more manpower than
26:41a government IPP.
26:43That is,
26:45even there it is not qualified.
26:47If a private IPP is running
26:49a power plant with 10 people,
26:51then a government IPP
26:53is running a power plant
26:55with 40-50 people.
26:57And they are selling
26:59the same unit to the public
27:01as they are giving.
27:03And apart from this,
27:05the government also has
27:07the system of transmission
27:09and distribution.
27:11Electricity theft can also
27:13be stopped by the government.
27:15Corruption can also be stopped
27:17by the government.
27:19So the government is
27:21more guilty than the IPPs
27:23in all these matters.
27:25It is a bigger culprit than this.
27:27The issue of capacity charges
27:29The fee unit price of electricity
27:31is 27 rupees.
27:33But why is the government
27:35collecting up to 40-60 rupees
27:37from Sarif?
27:39Who will answer this?
27:41They are collecting the same
27:43for their own IPPs.
27:45Experts are even showing
27:47that in the financial year 2023-24,
27:49the estimated capacity charges
27:51were 2,112 billion.
27:53According to NEPRA,
27:55it can now reach 3,000 billion
27:57How long will these IPPs work?
27:59I have given you the complete details.
28:01And some IPPs
28:03will remain
28:05on our heads
28:07till 2055-55.
28:09So now
28:11let's come to the solution.
28:13I will tell you the solution
28:15pointwise one by one.
28:17The first problem
28:19is that we have
28:21made power purchase agreements.
28:23We have
28:25done a lot of injustice.
28:27All the IPPs
28:29have come to do business.
28:31They will try to do
28:33as much as they can.
28:35But those people
28:37who make these agreements
28:39on behalf of the government,
28:41they have no sympathy
28:43for the people.
28:45If this had happened,
28:47they would not have made
28:49power purchase agreements.
28:51In Bangladesh and India,
28:53there are a lot of agreements
28:55that are not on capacity payments.
28:57Now let's take a look
28:59at the solution.
29:01I will enumerate them one by one.
29:03The first solution is
29:05to renegotiate
29:07your power purchase agreements.
29:09Most of your IPPs
29:11have taken out
29:13their capex.
29:15Apart from taking out
29:17the cost of installing
29:19the infrastructure,
29:21they have also taken out
29:23the cost of
29:25the investment.
29:27In fact, they have
29:29made a profit of 2-3 times.
29:31The first thing is to
29:33terminate the capacity payments.
29:35Pay as much
29:37power as you consume.
29:39The second thing is
29:41to pay
29:43in rupees
29:45instead of dollars.
29:47Do not pay
29:49in dollars.
29:51The third thing is
29:53to align
29:55the capacity and demand.
29:57The overcapacity
29:59can be utilized
30:01by the industry.
30:03Make industry-friendly
30:05policies so that the industry develops.
30:07Until that happens,
30:09do not increase
30:11your power generation capacity.
30:13Align it accordingly.
30:15Even if there is capacity,
30:17we will not pay for it.
30:19Until we have enough capacity
30:21to meet our demand,
30:23we will use that power.
30:25After this,
30:27make a flexible payment structure
30:29which can absorb
30:31electricity demand
30:33according to its fluctuation.
30:35Because of this flexibility,
30:37the government will get
30:39a gap, a breathing space
30:41to manage its resources
30:43effectively.
30:45The fourth thing is
30:47to make performance-based payments.
30:49An engineer
30:51who used to work
30:53in IPPs,
30:55I talked to him
30:57and to another person
30:59who installed IPPs.
31:01I talked to many people
31:03and they told me
31:05that contracts have many clauses
31:07in which the government can catch us.
31:09On the basis that they are not
31:11following certain protocols,
31:13not following certain SOPs,
31:15penalties can be imposed on them.
31:17In this way,
31:19we can make performance-based payments.
31:21The fifth thing is
31:23that the renewed contracts
31:25should be transparent.
31:27They should be available
31:29on the NEPRA website
31:31for the entire population of Pakistan.
31:33Because
31:35we are its stakeholders.
31:37Whatever contracts you do,
31:39they should be available
31:41on the NEPRA website
31:43and everyone should know
31:45that this is a contract.
31:47More importantly,
31:49the sixth thing is
31:51to get competitive bidding done.
31:53People of your choice
31:55can apply for a license.
31:57You can apply for a license.
31:59How much power do you need?
32:01You need power generation capacity.
32:03You can take tenders from people
32:05and get open bidding done.
32:07The best
32:09and most
32:11cost-effective solution
32:13should be selected
32:15and given a contract.
32:17It should be visible and transparent.
32:19The most important thing
32:21is that
32:23your own energy resources
32:25should be utilized.
32:29If you want to use coal,
32:31use coal
32:33coming from
32:35India.
32:37You should not
32:39import coal
32:41and use it here.
32:43Modify
32:45your power plants
32:47and use
32:49your local
32:51coal.
32:53These are the
32:55things that
32:57need to be
32:59renegotiated
33:01with your IPPs.
33:03There are some recommendations
33:05for the future.
33:07I will present them to you.
33:09The first
33:11point is that
33:13you should go towards
33:15renewable energy.
33:17You should go towards nuclear energy.
33:19You should go towards solar energy.
33:21You should go towards
33:23hydropower projects.
33:25You should go towards wind energy.
33:27We can tap into our
33:29sea waves as well.
33:31There are so many engineers.
33:33Why can't we come up
33:35with a solution that can
33:37actually make use of the resources
33:39which are available to us?
33:41We can always come up with
33:43what Allah has not given us.
33:45There are
33:47many such solutions already available.
33:49You can use them.
33:51You can use local
33:53fuel.
33:55You can use
33:57clean energy.
33:59We should go towards green energy.
34:01We should go towards green energy.
34:03This is the need
34:05of the hour.
34:07These are all the things
34:09that are recommended.
34:11The government
34:13immediately...
34:15They have changed the boards.
34:17We have changed the boards of IPPs.
34:19They have given us committees,
34:21boards, etc.
34:23People have nothing to do with this.
34:25I humbly request that
34:27our economy is completely zero.
34:29The reason for this is that
34:31we are not able to develop the industry.
34:33We are not able to develop the industry
34:35because you have not made
34:37business-friendly policies.
34:39You have so much electricity
34:41that no one in this country
34:43can do business.
34:45On top of that,
34:47the electricity you are using,
34:49the electricity you are making,
34:51the IPPs you have,
34:53so much of your foreign exchange
34:55I humbly request
34:57that all these committees
34:59and boards that you have changed,
35:01for example,
35:03if you have changed them,
35:05then give them this mandate
35:07so that people can see.
35:09So that there are not committees
35:11on committees,
35:13boards on boards,
35:15and there is no solution.
35:17Renegotiate the IPPs.
35:19I have spoken to people.
