00:00Well, we are going to Denver to preview the Denver Broncos.
00:06Now folks, I just want to pull back the curtain here.
00:08This is known as our short segment and there's a reason because, uh, well, I don't know how
00:13much there is to love in Denver, Joe.
00:16No, not a lot to love in Denver.
00:18That's for sure.
00:19A lot of uncertainty.
00:20I just can't shake the Bo Nicks of Auburn out of my head.
00:23I know, you know, finished up well in Oregon, very successful team, giant bunch of men protecting
00:29him on that offensive line, giving him a time to throw, but still the lowest average
00:33depth of target of any quarterback in this class, right?
00:36By a wide margin.
00:37Uh, sure.
00:38It's part of the offense, but it's also, I think limiting, you know, the warts or potential
00:42downsides of Bo Nicks.
00:44And then if you're going to go and take Bo Nicks as aggressively as the Denver Broncos
00:47took him, and they did take him aggressively in air quotes there.
00:52I just don't know, you know, if he's, he's gotta be the starter to start the year.
00:57I just don't think there's any way around this.
00:59So what does that do for a quarterback that I'm not super high on to be a day one week,
01:04one starter at the NFL level is some problems potentially, and behind him is Zach Wilson
01:08and Jarrett Stidham.
01:09It's not exactly confidence after that.
01:11So this becomes an interesting scenario of, can you find any value here?
01:15Javante Williams is being challenged for that number one role.
01:18A lot of people love Jaleel McLaughlin.
01:20He's a very popular sleeper this year in the fantasy football community, because people
01:25think McLaughlin could be that guy that would really, um, you know, had a great college
01:29career.
01:30A lot of volume could be that kind of guy.
01:31Maybe they have to just rely heavily on the run.
01:33That's possible.
01:34A lot of people have a lot of faith in Sean Payton.
01:36Now I do, but only to a certain extent.
01:39This is not Drew Brees.
01:40You're working with here.
01:41This is Bo Nicks.
01:42This is a totally different set of circumstances.
01:44So, uh, I am skeptical at best about the Broncos.
01:48McLaughlin's interesting.
01:49Courtland Sutton's interesting.
01:50Cause I still think he's the alpha dog wide receiver one in this group.
01:53He's coming at a significant discount.
01:55And if you look at the projections on him, he's going as somewhere like a wide receiver
01:58five or even six in some locations.
02:01That's fine.
02:02Like I think that's okay.
02:04Bad team might be playing from behind.
02:06Take that, you know, wide receiver one on that team.
02:08I'm okay.
02:09Marvin Mims has size and he has got some intrigue there, but I just don't know if we can, you
02:14know, get there.
02:15I had a lot of injuries last year with that wide receiver core.
02:18Dulcich is a, is a nice talented tight end.
02:21UFC quarterbacks tend to check down a lot and look for those tight ends.
02:24So he could be useful at times, but I think more of a tight end streamer with the way
02:27tight end value and talent is this year.
02:30So it's really the one guy in this offense.
02:32You can make a case for his Courtland Sutton as ADP Troy Franklin in deeper leagues.
02:37Interesting because he did play with Bo Nicks.
02:38So there's a familiarity there.
02:40And I think that does matter to a certain extent.
02:42I do think that when you have a young quarterback and a receiver that he has a relationship
02:46with already, it's going to be something that's comfortable for them.
02:51But at the same time, this is professional football.
02:53So there's going to be guys that are going to outrank him for targets and Courtland Sutton
02:55is going to outrank him.
02:56So late Troy Franklin, intriguing Julia McLaughlin, late, intriguing Courtland Sutton is a value
03:02play.
03:03There's a couple of pieces you can cherry pick, but overall not super excited about
03:06the offense of the Denver Broncos.
