The struggle was real. Sleep, the undefeated champion, challenged the tiny warrior over a plate.

Tiny eyelids battled a rumble in the tummy.

Caroline Annett set down a plate piled high with meals—the kind that usually had her little boy cheering.

But this time, sleep was winning.

With each chew, his little head dipped lower, then bobbed back up for another bite.

Caroline couldn't help but smile.

It seemed her little guy was having a hard time deciding between finishing his yummy dinner and giving in to a cozy snooze.
