00:00It was probably, football-wise, the most difficult thing I've ever had to
00:09deal with in terms of my own career. I was absolutely heartbroken
00:16and then obviously when you're on your holidays, wherever I was,
00:23every time you turn on the phone or turn on the TV or whatever, you just
00:27see it, so it was hard not to see really, but I felt like I should have been in
00:33the squad. I'm sure every person that didn't get picked in the
00:38squad, whether that's myself or any of the other players, would have
00:41thought the same. If I sit here and say that I don't feel like I
00:46should have been in the squad, you're going to be thinking, what's this guy
00:48like? What's he thinking? So of course I thought I should have
00:53been in the squad. I felt like I offered something different to players in
00:58the England squad. I've had a lot of ups and downs in my career, but yeah, it was
01:05difficult. But like I said, I'm going to try and use that as motivation now
01:08going forward into this season and hopefully I can prove
01:14some people wrong.
