00:32if any member of the National Assembly gives his declaration of allegiance to any party,

00:47The basic purpose of this is, as you know,

00:50that a decision has been made by the Supreme Court.

00:52In that regard, the Election Commission has to increase the matters further.

00:55And there will be an amendment to the legislation, which will come to the Speaker.

00:59And the Speaker will receive a new declaration after this bill is passed.

01:05at that time, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Tarar, said that

01:10the Supreme Court has made a decision and the bill has been rewritten.

01:14Hence, this is why this bill has been brought forward.

01:16And this bill should be presented to the committee,

01:18so that the committee can work on this further.

01:19After that, it should be approved by the public again.

01:22So, the basic purpose of this bill is,

01:24that any member of the National Assembly,

01:25who has given a declaration once,

01:27that he will not be able to join any other party,

01:31he will not be able to give that declaration again.

01:33And no such declaration will be accepted by the Speaker after the law is passed.
