00:00What was it that made you want to join Chefs United as you had a lot of offers from a number of clubs?
00:05I think for me it was a pretty easy decision. You see the size of the club, the managers, the players that they've brought in
00:13and the goals that they're looking to achieve this season match the goals that I want to achieve in my career.
00:17Obviously you've been at Peterborough all your career, how do you feel to be leaving home almost?
00:23I'm excited really for a new challenge. I was at Peterborough for a long, long time so I think the time was right for me to move on and I'm looking forward to it.
00:32How important was the manager in the decision?
00:35Definitely a big one. Obviously I had discussions with him prior to signing and the way this football club is going to be playing this season matches the way I play so that was a big decision.
00:46Who has been the players that you've got on most well with since you've first arrived?
00:51I'm pretty fresh so all the lads have been brilliant with me. Obviously the young ones, Oli Arblaza and the new ones as well, Calum O'Hare and Kiefer O'Moore. I've had good chats with them.
01:01How excited are you to be playing in Bramall Lane, obviously in a big footballing city?
01:05I'm buzzing, I can't wait. I'm not really used to 30,000 a week back at Peterborough but that's another reason that attracted me to such a big club.
01:14How confident are you of the team's chances of promotion?
01:17If you watch today you've seen the football that they've played. This season is really exciting for everyone involved at the club.
01:26Playing in a South Yorkshire derby, how important are those games to get you up to match sharpness and get you ready for the first game against Preston?
01:34Obviously pre-season is all about building relationships with teammates and getting your fitness up so these games are very important.
