00:00Miriam.
00:01The ruler of Egypt is an evil pharaoh who orders all the Hebrew baby boys to be killed.
00:24One mother has a plan to protect her baby boy.
00:29He makes a papyrus basket, coats it with clay and tar to make it float, and places the baby
00:37inside.
00:39The mother and her daughter, Miriam, put the basket in the reeds along the riverbank.
00:46They pray for God to take care of their baby.
00:52Miriam is a very brave big sister.
00:56She hides and watches over her brother's floating basket.
01:03Pharaoh's daughter comes to the river to take a bath.
01:07She sees the basket and looks inside.
01:11Miriam is worried.
01:13What will the princess do to her little brother?
01:18The princess picks up the basket and says, I will take care of this baby as my own.
01:27Miriam runs to the princess and asks bravely, would you like me to find a nurse for the
01:33baby?
01:34Yes, answers the princess.
01:39Miriam is happy.
01:41Now her brother is safe.
01:43She takes him home so their mother can be his nurse.
01:49The baby stays with his real family a little while longer.
01:55When Miriam's brother is older, their mother brings him to the princess.
02:00The princess names him Moses.
02:03Moses grows up to become a great leader of his people.
