00:00Nestled in the New South Wales Southern Highlands, Bundanoon is known for its glowworms,
00:05its supposedly haunted pub, but most of all its guest houses.
00:12One of the village's best-known guest houses began its life as the private home
00:18of George and Dinah Osborne. Over the last century, the Knoll, as it was first known,
00:24has undergone several incarnations, including most recently as the Solar Springs Health Retreat,
00:30and is now operating as the ultra-chic Osborne House, where you can stroll the gardens,
00:40indulge in a few lazy laps in the pool, enjoy a game of chess,
00:48read a book in the library, or simply just relax in your room. But my favourite reason for visiting
00:56here are the magical views over the wilds of Moreton National Park, which you can enjoy
01:02from your very own Juliet balcony. A spectacular vista that visitors have enjoyed here for over
01:10a century. It's a view worth framing, and that's exactly what they've done
01:16in the formal dining room located on the main level of Osborne House.
