00:31And it might be Kirk.
00:32It might be Kirk because I think Alex,
00:34even as a passer in this system,
00:36was kind of working his way to that.
00:38It wasn't like the offense was great in 2018
00:41before he got hurt.
00:42It was building to something,
00:44but he knew how to manage the game.
00:46I think the one thing to me that impresses me
00:48about Daniels, it's not just the results that we see,
00:52the completions that we see,
00:54it's the stuff you hear behind the scenes.
00:56And I always go back to that
00:57because I think that's how you have to build a quarterback.
01:00And it's the stuff like,
01:01how is he handling the operation of the offense?
01:04And I think that's big.
01:06The cadences, the play calls, the checks,
01:09those things I think are areas where I think
01:11they see that behind the scenes,
01:13that he's doing well with that.
01:14So I think if you want to feel good
01:17about where this is going, it's about that
01:20because we see the other stuff.
01:21You see the arm, he has good touch.
01:24You see the electric running ability,
01:26but if you don't hear and see this other stuff,
01:29the other stuff is going to only take you so far.
01:31That little inside key.
01:32Even when you don't complete pass sometimes,
01:34he makes the right decisions.
01:35That's what I'm saying.
01:36That's my point.
01:37And if you do that consistently,
01:39like if he gets, if Jaden Daniels, heaven forbid,
01:43had something, if he gets hurt,
01:44he can still play in this league
01:46because he can pass the ball.
01:47I think he understands how to play quarterback
01:51first and foremost,
01:52and he happens to be a guy who can really run.
