00:00Various agencies will help Malacanang to discuss the implementation of the Total Pogo Ban.

00:07One of the problems now is that the government is spending a lot of money on illegal pogo raids.

00:22In the ongoing campaign against illegal pogo activities,

00:26the government is also spending a lot of money on taking care of the people who are being arrested here.

00:33They are already spending more than P85 million,

00:36from food and medicine to sending them back home to their countries.

00:42We don't want humanitarian crises to happen,

00:46especially if our prisoners are foreign nationals.

00:51They might say that we are not observing the human rights of these people.

00:58According to the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission of PAOC,

01:02more than 1,600 people are being deported,

01:05which was added yesterday by 33.

01:08Blacklisted or they will not be able to return to the Philippines.

01:12Technically, all of them will be treated as criminal suspects in China,

01:16so they will all be charged criminally in China.

01:19With the ongoing closure of pogos in the country,

01:22the government is talking to foreign pogo workers

01:25where the country's prisoners are,

01:27instead of being arrested in the operation and being deported back to their countries.

01:33Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin-Namuya asked to review the previous order of the Bureau of Immigration.

01:40But we will clarify with the immigration people what are the rules that we should follow

01:46because it should be in consonance with the December 31 deadline, right?

01:55And we don't want people to be panicking because they gave an order without consulting us.

02:03Ramuya is also worried about the consequences of the exodus of pogo workers.

02:10There are many elements within the BID.

02:12They are still making money, but these people are still preparing.

02:18We know that this is a rice field of many corrupt elements within the BID.

02:26There will be a high-level meeting in Malacanang between the PAGOR, PAOC, Department of Justice,

02:33and other agencies to discuss the implementation of a total ban on pogos.
