00:14Susan, some fishmongers here in Marikina Public Market are suffering from oil spills in Bataan's livelihood.
00:25They are now forced to sell their fish at a lower price.
00:30Even some of them are caught in a faraway place in Manila Bay.
00:39Aside from the fishermen, the fishmongers in some markets in Metro Manila are also affected by the oil spill in Bataan.
00:46The market is now empty, said the fishmongers in Marikina Public Market.
00:51In the past, we used to earn P7,000. Now, it's hard.
00:56Sometimes, P4,000 or P3,000.
00:59Sometimes, they earn P2,000. Sometimes, it's P1,500.
01:03That's what we can cook in one day.
01:06It's very difficult now.
01:08For example, you can earn P5,000. Now, you can't earn P2,000.
01:13We are forced to sell at a lower price because if we don't sell, our market will be ruined.
01:20There are many fishmongers who choose to avoid eating fish after the oil spill,
01:25like Nanay Guy, who owns a fishmonger's shop.
01:28I used to order fish this Friday.
01:32I don't order fish now.
01:34I don't even buy fish because of the oil spill.

01:47Here in Marikina, each kilo of bangus is only P240,
01:51from the previous P300.
01:53Galunggong can be bought for P260, which was P300 per kilo.
01:58P100 per kilo of mayamaya is now P400.
02:03The previous price of tuna was P150,
02:07which is now being sold for P300.
02:10Pampano is now P50 per kilo, which is now P400.
02:16The price of each kilo of tilapia has not decreased from P120 to P160,
02:21and lapu-lapu is now at P500.
02:30Susan is asking the sellers to issue an advisory regarding the areas affected by the oil spill.
