00:00How do you balance being aggressive and taking risks downfield versus taking a profit on a check down?

00:05First of all, thank you for your assessment.

00:07I think it all comes down to really just trusting in your reads.

00:11Every play really has a read and it's based on the coverage, really.

00:16So, you've got to start with your footwork and your eyes.

00:19And then, obviously, just trusting your reads, trusting yourself and being able to throw an accurate ball.

00:23I mean, that's the most important thing in playing quarterbacks.

00:26Like you said, I feel like I'm one of the best at that.

00:29So, I just try to do the right things at all times and let the game come to me.

00:33What does training camp allow you to do, as far as installs, that wasn't there during minicamp and OT days?

00:39I think a lot of back and forth with the defense and just being able to come out here.

00:45Obviously, we get the reps as far as routes on air and we do some team stuff on air.

00:50But, whenever you've got an opponent in front of you, you're just able to get that much better.

00:55We play against, I mean, we've got a great defense.

00:57They're playing in a tremendous scheme.

00:59They're challenging us every single day.

01:01And it's only making both sides better.

01:03You can see it out there, man.

01:04You know, guys are going back and forth, playing plays.

01:06And that's what you want from a team.

01:08That's the sign of a good team, I think.

01:09At what point does it turn to frustration, though, when they show you something that you were not expecting to see versus fun competition?

01:16Yeah, I mean, that's the thing.

01:18We're not scouting each other.

01:19Everyone's in install phases right now.

01:22So, you know, sometimes the defense will have a better play on than we do.

01:25And the great thing about our offense is that, as quarterbacks, we have the privilege to, you know, get to the right play.

01:31And, you know, really try to always be in a good play.

01:34You try not to waste any downs, especially in this league, man.

01:38Every down is critical.

01:39So, just always trying to get to the right play.

01:41Like I said, we've got to have answers.

01:43And that's something we work on daily.
