00:00Those who work in the government will be able to receive the first tranche of their salary increase this year.

00:07According to the Department of Budget and Management,

00:10which is included in the 2025 National Budget,

00:13the 70 billion pesos adjustment for the first and second tranche of the salary increase for 2024 and 2025

00:21is retroactive or will still give the right salary hike starting from January this year.

00:27There will be four tranches for the salary increase until 2027.

00:32Starting from 2025, the employees will also receive a 7,000 pesos medical allowance.

00:38The executive order for this has already been arranged.

00:41The travel budget of the Office of the President will be smaller next year.

00:47Based on the National Expenditure Program of the agency,

00:50it will be reduced by 94 million pesos compared to the 2024 budget.

00:56In total, the fund is more than 1 billion pesos for the trip of the President.
