Kementerian PUPR memastikan, Bandara Ibu Kota Nusantara belum siap digunakan saat peringatan Hut Kemerdekaan ke-79 Republik Indonesia. Dari target 2.200 meter pada 14 Agustus 2024, progres pembangunan runway bandara diperkirakan masih kurang 300 meter sehingga belum bisa didarati oleh pesawat.
