GX Bank records over 750,000 customers, 13 mil transactions since its launch

Malaysia’s first digital banking services provider GX Bank Bhd has recorded over 750,000 customers who have opened over 800,000 "savings pockets” or wallets.  Speaking at the launch ceremony of the GX Bank Headquarters and GX Bank Centre of Excellence on Friday (Aug 2), GX Bank chairman Datuk Zaiton Mohd Hassan said the digital bank has also achieved more than 13 million transactions collectively through GX cards and QR (quick-response) code scans. 00:00We have officially launched the GX for All initiative by giving away GX cards.

00:05From only 100,000 users in the first two weeks of our bank launch in November last year,

00:17we have now recorded more than 750,000 users.

00:30Users who have opened more than 800,000 savings pockets.

00:42This is our goal, ladies and gentlemen, to educate our people to save.

00:49And this is the main goal of the pocket.

00:54And this number is increasing.

00:57We have also broken more than 13 million transactions through GX cards and QR codes.
