00:18It's been a month again and that means that there is again new anime on Netflix.
00:23Also in the last month there were a lot of big titles.
00:25You can hardly beat them anymore.
00:27Including the sports anime Haikyuu, which certainly counts for many of their favorites.
00:32Unfortunately, Netflix has only released the first season so far.
00:35That's a bit of a shame, because the fourth season will start in Japan soon.
00:40Okay, until then we have to wait a little longer.
00:43It will be ready in January of next year.
00:46Then we will be able to work with Hinata, Kageyama and the team again.
00:50Are you already looking forward to the fourth season?
00:51But also the adult action series Black Lagoon was included in the program.

01:24And that's the fighting shounen Hunter x Hunter.

01:27Hunter x Hunter is coming to Netflix.
01:29Finally, the provider not only has the movies, so Hunter x Hunter The Last Mission and Hunter x Hunter Phantom Walk in the program.
01:35But also the series.
01:37Hunter x Hunter is about the boy Gon, who wants to become a hunter.
01:40So he wants to find his missing father again.
01:44He is also a hunter.
01:45Hunters are keepers of the balance between nature and man.
01:48And so Gon gets up to take part in the Hunter exam.
01:51He meets Caprica, Leorio and Killua.
01:55They quickly become his companions.
01:57Will they become hunters together or is the exam too difficult?
02:01You really don't have to say much about Hunter x Hunter, do you?
02:04It is certainly one of the best adventure series and also has enough time to unfold its story.
02:09With its 148 episodes, it is clearly one of the longer series.
02:13However, there are not so many that you don't want to start.
02:16So dive into the world of Hunter x Hunter from October 1st.
02:20And then you can continue with a similar series.
02:23Namely the adventure fantasy series Ultramarine Magmal.
02:27In this anime, a whole continent from the sea suddenly appears and thus changes the world.
02:32This new continent is called Magmal.
02:35It triggers a new age of discovery.
02:37And so researchers and adventurers flock to the island.
02:40They quickly come across completely new creatures, which, however, are not necessarily friendly to them.
02:46But in search of precious resources, they are willing to take the risk.
02:51But the brave adventurers have underestimated the dangers.
02:54And so they experience one disaster after another.
02:57Nevertheless, the hidden treasures of this new country are simply irresistible.
03:02In order to enable the researchers to do their work there, a mysterious group helps them.
03:08They act in a certain way as bodyguards and protect the researchers from the monsters or other dangers lurking on them.
03:15This way they earn their living, but also go on one or the other adventure themselves.
03:20Because who can resist the temptation of a new continent?
03:24Ultramarine Magmal is a pretty new anime.
03:27This is how it ran from April 2019 on Japanese television, i.e. in the spring season.
03:32But at that time this 12-episode series did not get much attention.
03:37Because it was not licensed by anyone.
03:39Until then Netflix took over the rights.
03:42The anime is based on a manga, or should I rather say manhua?
03:45Because the author is from China.
03:47So far, six volumes have been released.
03:49So for a second season we need a few more.
03:52The manhua was also licensed in German.
03:54Volume 1 was released on April 23, 2019.
03:57The second volume is already out.
03:59From October 22nd there will be the third.
04:02So if you are not satisfied with the end of the anime, you can continue with the manga.
04:07The anime also reminds of its opening a bit of Hunter x Hunter.
04:10So with the monsters and the fantastic continent.
04:13For Ultramarine Magmal, by the way, the scriptwriter of Tokyo Ghoul was responsible.
04:18That's not necessarily positive for you.
04:20I always hear that the manga should be much better than the anime.
04:24But what makes you hope again is the music.
04:26Because Yasuhara Takanashi was responsible for this in Naruto Shippuden and Fairy Tail.
04:32And especially in Fairy Tail it was great.
04:34But let's move on to the next series.
04:36Namely the sports anime Free.
04:38This is about the four boys Haruka, Nagisa, Makoto and Rin.
04:42Together they took part in a swimming tournament at elementary school.
04:45They won that too.
04:47But after that their paths parted.
04:49They all went to different schools.
04:51But years later the three find Haruka, Nagisa and Makoto together again at high school.
04:57And when suddenly Rin appears out of nowhere, the memories of back then come back.
05:02But then he challenges Haruka to a swimming duel.
05:05Haruka loves water above all else.
05:07But he's more relaxed about it.
05:09So he prefers to swim relaxed in the pool instead of working on his speed.
05:13But he too is now overwhelmed by ambition.
05:15And surprisingly he loses to Rin.
05:18Although he was always in the lead.
05:20However, the three can't let this defeat sit on them.
05:23And so they found a swimming club.
05:25But to be able to compete against Rin in an official competition, they need four swimmers.
05:30That's why they look for a fourth one and find Rei.
05:33Rei is pretty athletic and also in the light-athletic club.
05:36But he can't swim.
05:37However, that's not a KO criterion for the three.
05:40And so they try to teach him how to swim.
05:42Will the four team up and beat Rin in a competition?
05:46To find out, you have to watch the series.
05:49It's also pretty long.
05:51So the anime has several sequels in the form of whole anime seasons and movies.
05:56But also prequel movies that tell the story of the four were also produced.
06:01The question is, however, whether they will also appear on Netflix.
06:04Because unfortunately Netflix has shown again and again that they often only license the first season.
06:09Many have been waiting for the second season of Attack on Titan for ages.
06:12Although the third season has long been broadcast in Japan.
06:16Also with Haikyuu, only the first season has been released on Netflix so far.
06:20But why is that?
06:21I guess it's because the other anime streaming providers have secured the exclusive rights.
06:27Namely Wakanim for Haikyuu and Anime on Demand for Attack on Titan.
06:31This prevents Netflix from releasing the other seasons.
06:35However, it could also be that Netflix is not so interested in releasing everything as quickly as possible.
06:41So we must not forget that Netflix does not only have anime fans as a target group.
06:45Many Netflix users may not even know that there is a second season of Haikyuu or AoT.
06:51Let's hope that this will change at some point.
06:54So Netflix releases the other seasons much faster.
06:57Or just self-finances the series and thus does not have to worry about these license negotiations.
07:03Before we continue with the next new anime, I would like to briefly mention that unfortunately from today,
07:07i.e. on October 1st, three more anime have been removed from the program.
07:11These are three Dragon Ball films.
07:13And that's Dragon Ball Z Super Saiyajin Son Goku, Dragon Ball Z Coola's Return
07:18and no, this is not a bad translation of Freeza.
07:21Coola is Freeza's brother.
07:23Oh, what a beautiful name.
07:25And the third film Dragon Ball Z Attack of the Biowarriors is also no longer available on Netflix.
07:30However, there is also good news.
07:31So I already made a video about it, that takes Netflix 7 anime out of the program.
07:36However, they licensed three of these series again.
07:39With the anime classic Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.
07:42Fortunately, because that's how many new anime fans can get to know this masterpiece at a cheap price.
07:47And maybe that's how some anime fans become anime fans.
07:51But the original series of Fullmetal Alchemist is also available again on Netflix.
07:55It's shorter and also has a different ending.
07:57So I recommend Brotherhood.
07:59Also the fan favorite, the fantasy action series of the Regal Art Magic High School is back in the program.
08:05Actually the perfect anime to just watch it go.
08:08However, having it on the shelf doesn't necessarily have to be.

08:16Unfortunately, Netflix postponed Naruto Shippuden to November.
08:20But that didn't stop them from licensing the third Naruto movie.
08:24So as a little consolation, you can watch this one.
08:27There are only two months left.
08:29In addition, the second season of the action 3D series Kengan Ashura will be released on October 31st.
08:36So if you weren't shocked by the 3D, you'll get a refill.
08:39But let's continue with another new anime.
08:42This series is also available from October 1st and it's a true anime classic.
08:46The Magical Girl series Cardcaptor Sakura from 1998.
08:51This anime is about the girl Sakura.
08:53She is actually a normal student.
08:56But one day she finds a special book in her father's library.
09:00It glows and even contains cards.
09:03What she doesn't know is that they are magic cards.
09:05And so she accidentally activates one.
09:07Through the wind, all the cards are distributed all over the city.
09:11When this is noticed by the guardian of the cards,
09:13by the way, he had a little hiccup, only lasted 30 years,
09:17he is of course completely speechless.
09:19To get them back, Sakura has to become a Magical Girl.
09:22She now has to catch a new monster every episode.
09:25Because the cards are not just lying around in the city.
09:28They have transformed into their majestic form.
09:31Sakura has to list these monsters and then turn them back into cards.
09:36Will Sakura be able to get all the cards?
09:38At least the anime had enough episodes to answer this question.
09:42But here again there is a problem.
09:44Because for Cardcaptor Sakura only the first 35 episodes were synchronized in German.
09:49So will Netflix only record them in the program?
09:51Or will they license all 70 episodes?
