00:40but he took it from outside her home in Billsthorpe anyway.
00:44At 1.22am on June 27th last year, Nottingham Crown Court was told.
00:50When he was confronted by officers he shouted,
00:53I will take you on, no messing.
00:56And spat at one officer before barging and kicking a second.
01:00Samuel Lown, prosecuting, said Hambridge also stole more than £1,500 of goods in 25 thefts
01:08between September and November last year.
01:11On one occasion he went behind the counter and the cashier tried to detain him but slipped
01:16and Hambridge managed to escape with £120 of cigarettes.
01:21While stealing Christmas biscuits he slipped out of his vest as staff tried to grab him and made off.
01:28Blidworth woman who assaulted police had drunk alcohol for first time in 18 months.
01:34Sarah Poynton called 999 and claimed she was being attacked by her parents,
01:40but her mum told officers who arrived just after midnight on July 13th,
01:44she had too much to drink at a family gathering.
01:48Becky Olsop, prosecuting, said the police offered to take her home,
01:52but she became obstructive and told them she would kick off.
01:56As she was walked out of the address she began screaming and hurling insults
02:01and threatened to urinate in the police car.

02:11she shouted and spat on one officer's thigh.
02:15After a spit hood was placed on her, Poynton kicked another officer in the genitals,
02:19causing a fair amount of pain.
02:21The court heard she later apologised and said she felt terrible.
02:25Dean Gruyuk, mitigating, said Poynton, who has no previous convictions,
02:30can't remember the details of what happened.
02:33She was remorseful and mortified as soon as she found out what happened.
02:38She was previously alcohol dependent, but sought help for her issues
02:42and hadn't drunk for 18 months until the rude awakening at the party.
02:47It was out of character and an isolated incident, he added.
02:52Poynton, aged 31, of Robin Hood Road, Blidworth admitted assaulting emergency workers
02:58when she appeared at Mansfield Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
03:02She received a 12-month community order with 10 rehabilitation days
03:08and an alcohol abstinence monitoring programme for 90 days.
03:12She was fined £180 ordered to pay £100 compensation to each officer.
