00:00What are some of the things that you've learned

00:02about how Gen Z engages politically

00:05and how you've been able to encourage certain people

00:09who have had questions about interacting politically,

00:12how to become politically active,

00:14how to find their political identity

00:16and to just really forge their path

00:18as a political person looking to engage?

00:24Yeah, so the internet.

00:27When we found out that Joe Biden would be stepping down

00:31and Kamala Harris would be taking the endorsement

00:33or was getting the endorsement rather,

00:36that week I saw so many young people

00:38and interestingly enough as well,

00:40young white people hosting lives incessantly.

00:43I get on TikTok maybe once or twice a day,

00:46but throughout the week,

00:46I would see the same young people creators online

00:49doing a lot of the work to sort of argue folks down.

00:51So young people are arming themselves with information

00:54to be able to come into public spaces

00:56where a lot of rhetoric is spewed to share the facts.

00:59I think young people are really interested in engaging

01:01in this combat against mis and disinformation in a real way.
