00:00Hey guys, not sure if we should put this on our wheels in Japan playlist or our cool gadgets
00:05in Japan playlist, it's a bit of both.
00:08So this little mountain here is next to the river that we've shown you guys before, one
00:12of our favourite places in Japan.
00:14There's a walking track that goes right to the top of this little mountain, it's about
00:18500 feet high, pretty steep walking track.
00:21We've walked it a couple of times, actually ran it once, that was a bit of craziness one
00:26day, but really hard climb to the top.
00:29So there's a little bit of a gazebo up there, and the boys are doing some work up there
00:33at the moment, so pretty hard work to haul all their gear up that walking track.
00:39So they constructed this little monorail up through the forest, pretty well straight up,
00:46it sort of curves a little bit around trees, but pretty well straight up the hill, really
00:49steep, really really steep.
00:53And they run this gadget, this machine, seems to have a little, some sort of little, probably
01:03a small motorcycle engine or something like that, and they can use it to transport themselves
01:10and their gear up and down the mountain, which is just brilliant, because if they walked
01:14it like they did in the old days, by the time they got to the top they'd have no energy
01:17left to do the work.
01:20As we watched, these guys actually hopped off, and then started it back up the hill
01:26again, it went back up the hill on its own, and then about 20 minutes later, their co-workers
01:31came down the hill on it.
