00:00Looking ahead to the weekend here in Paris, we've got the Blue Ribbon Athletics event
00:12with Sheffield sprint sensation Louis Hinchliffe hoping to light up the Stade de France in
00:16the 100 metres, that's one of the highlights of the weekend.
00:20As is cycling's road races, we've got Yorkshire's Tom Pidcock going for glory in the men's race
00:24on Saturday and Lizzie Daignan from Otley on Sunday having won a silver medal back in
00:31London 2012, 12 years ago.
00:33We've also got two gymnastics finals for our Leeds Gymnastics stars Harry Hepworth and
00:38Luke Whitehouse at the Bursit Arena on Saturday and Sunday.
00:42It's going to be another action-packed weekend at Paris 2024.

01:04Arena where Léon Marchand, the poster boy of the Olympics has won three gold medals
01:09for the host nation, although one of those did come at the expense of Max Litchfield
01:13the Pontefract swimmer who unfortunately finished fourth for a third Olympic Games in a row.
01:19Away from the Olympics we've got rugby league, football and cricket as the big summer sports
