00:00What do you think the Vice President is looking for in a running mate?
00:02I think it's a good question for her.
00:04I think it is a deeply, deeply personal decision.
00:08One that she understands because she went through it four years ago when then-candidate
00:13Biden, our nominee Biden, chose her.
00:16She is obviously uniquely aware of the importance of picking someone who she can run with and
00:23win with and, of course, govern with.
00:25And I know she will make this decision, as she makes every decision, in the best interest
00:29of the American people.
00:30What do you think you bring to the ticket, Governor, the process I understand, but what
00:35do you think you bring?
00:36I'm not going to engage in those kind of hypotheticals.
00:38That's a conversation for her, a question for her.
00:41The Philadelphia Inquirer is writing about a 1993 college article you wrote where you
00:46expressed skepticism about a two-state solution.
00:49I understand you do support a two-state solution now.
00:51Can you kind of just talk about that evolution?
00:54Something I wrote when I was 20?
00:55Is that what you're talking about?
00:57I was 20.
00:58Look, I have said for years, years, long before October 7th, that I favor a two-state solution.
01:08Israelis and Palestinians living peacefully side-by-side, being able to determine their
01:14own futures and their own destinies, being able to work as they want and worship as they
01:19want and understand the power of living peacefully side-by-side and how that will lift up both
01:26parties in this or both sides of this conversation.
01:31This is obviously a very challenging situation and has been for hundreds if not thousands
01:37of years.
01:38It is my hope that we can see a day where peace will reign in the Middle East, where
01:43there will be a two-state solution, where all leaders involved in the conversations
01:49will respect the other side and show a willingness to make the hard choices to find peace.
01:56And I hope that the U.S. government will always be a partner in peace and trying to find a
02:00path forward in the Middle East.
02:03Governor, do you think the Israelis' – she had a question.
02:06Go ahead.
02:07Do you think the Israelis' killing, assassination of two leaders this week, one in Iran, one
02:14in Beirut, were proper?
02:16I think that's a question for the national security team, who has a lot more information
02:21on the circumstances surrounding that.
02:23You need me to hook you up with an interview with somebody else here, Cole?
02:26You keep asking me questions that aren't for me.
