On "Forbes Newsroom," former Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley, who ran against Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2010 California Attorney General election, slammed Harris's political talents, and claimed that Gov. Jerry Brown (D-CA) actually told him he was supporting Cooley and not Harris.

00:00You were her opponent obviously not inside of her campaign but from your

00:05vantage point how does she run a campaign? Well I thought her campaign was

00:11actually pretty effective against mine she did do her campaign did very well

00:17when it came to social media that was an emerging craft in politics at the time

00:22she had a lot of support in Silicon Valley that helped her in that arena so

00:28I thought that was something that they did very well my campaign consultant

00:33advised and I followed his advice that you can't be too harsh on a female

00:40candidate or especially a female candidate of color so just don't be too

00:46hard Steve and I kind of followed that advice which I think was good sound

00:50advice at the time and overall I think the reason I did as well as I did

00:59actually winning election night was because so many people in California

01:04knew her and didn't like her including Governor Jerry Brown Governor Jerry

01:09Brown told me directly he was voting for me because he did not like Kamala Harris

01:15you keep bringing this up her likeability and throughout the Biden

01:19presidency her approval rating often trailed behind his and it wasn't that

01:24high what makes you say that she wasn't likable? Oh from what I've heard from

01:34many sources her interactions with other human beings is that she is arrogant and

01:40an elitist and I've also heard over the years including recently that she

01:49blames her staff or oftentimes her own failings or mistakes and that she goes

01:57through staff more often they'll say the average elected official or candidate

02:05Steve there's less than four months between now and election day obviously

02:12this election has been shaken up tremendously what are you looking out

02:17for next? Well I gotta tell you it's it's been quite a roller coaster it was

02:25a roller coaster before president for the assassination attempt on President

02:29Trump there's the Biden yes Biden no Biden's in Biden's out stuff so I think

02:35that based upon what's happened so far I think it's almost like anything can

02:41happen except one thing will not happen she will not win she will not win

02:45because over time she'll get more exposure and the voting public will be

02:52able to evaluate her objectively but she's gonna be scrutinized heavily and I

02:58don't think it's gonna do well for her
