Protesters gather in Blackpool surrounded by a huge police presence after Southport murders

00:08The protesters have now approached the police standing in front of the Metropole Hotel where

00:14there's a number of asylum seekers.

00:18The police are standing firm, there's no suggestion that the protesters are trying to get through

00:23but they're making their point.

00:36Now they've been gathered here for more than an hour, so it's been a peaceful protest so

00:41far.

00:42The protesters have made their point but there's been no real aggravation.

00:50Now the demonstrators have moved away, moved away from the police, having made their point.

01:10A small group have remained, talking with the police on the line.

01:40Now there is a man there making a protest about the asylum seekers in the hotel that

01:55they're not wanted, so a man with a megaphone.
