వైఎస్సార్సీపీ సర్కార్‌ తూట్లు పొడిచిన జల్ జీవన్ మిషన్‌ను మళ్లీ పట్టాలెక్కించేందుకు ఎన్డీయే ప్రభుత్వం దృష్టి సారించింది. జల్ జీవన్ మిషన్ పనుల్లో జాతీయ స్థాయిలో ఏపీ 29వ స్థానంలో ఉంది. గత ఐదేళ్లు ఈ పథకం అమల్లో అప్పటి ప్రభుత్వం తీవ్ర నిర్లక్ష్యం ప్రదర్శించింది. కానీ నిధుల విషయానికి వస్తే మాత్రం రాష్ట్రంలో రూ.4,000ల కోట్లకు పైగా వ్యయం చేసినట్లు గణాంకాలు చూపిస్తున్నాయి. అయితే వాటి ఫలితాలు ఏ స్థాయిలో ఉన్నాయి? క్షేత్ర స్థాయిలో పనులు ఏ విధంగా చేశారు? అనే అంశాలపై ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి పవన్ కల్యాణ్ నిశితంగా పరిశీలిస్తున్నారు. సమగ్ర నివేదిక ఇవ్వాలని అధికారులను ఆయన ఆదేశించారు.
