00:15Guts is inspired by a writer's own personal experience of eating disorder recovery and
00:20the kindness of strangers, i.e. guardian angels who help them stay on the beam.
00:26No recovery is linear and no two people have the same exact experience, but anybody who
00:32has spent time away from this cruel, frightening, and dangerous illness will tell you that their
00:38worst day in recovery was better than their best day when they were sick.
