00:15:13Well, this rivalry has been going on for the better part of a decade between Bayley and Nia Jax.
00:15:21They first met at NXT TakeOver London back in 2015, where Bayley would retain the championship.
00:15:28In the 2016 Arnold Classic, Bayley would retain over Jax again.
00:15:34But they haven't met each other one-on-one in five and a half years. Think about this,
00:15:39if you're Nia Jax, you came through NXT with Bayley, you competed against Bayley,
00:15:44and then you had to watch Bayley succeed at the highest level for practically a decade now.
00:15:50Bayley just continues to get bigger and better and more popular. And if you're Nia Jax ready
00:15:55to step away from WWE for quite some time before coming back, think of the drive that will give
00:16:00Nia, knowing I've been begging and pleading and thinking about this chance this night for years.

00:16:18lasting one hour, three minutes and two seconds, eliminated seven superstars,
00:16:23to earn the opportunity to face Eo Scott at WrestleMania, where she would win
00:16:29the WWE Women's Championship.
00:16:32These two have said some incredibly personal things about each other over the last few
00:16:36weeks on SmackDown. No doubt, no love lost between these two women. Look at the malice
00:16:45in the eyes of Queen Nia. All I know is that I hope Bayley brought a helmet because it could be
00:16:51a long night. And a body protection suit. The Annihilator. Mouthguards, shin guards,
00:17:00full body pads would probably be apropos. Bubble Boy's situation, like it.
00:17:10The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the WWE Women's Championship!

00:18:01You know, Bayley was really one of the all-time greats here, and WWE hasn't lost a singles match
00:18:07since back in January. So Corey, for Bayley to retain tonight, against the more powerful Nia
00:18:13Jax, what does she need to do? Bayley has an extremely extensive bag of tricks, and I think
00:18:17the longer that the champion can prolong this matchup, the more it favors Bayley. Bayley needs
00:18:22to tire Nia out, try to stick and move in the early moments, and try to outlast the challenger.
00:18:27The referee, Jason Ayers, in this matchup, Bayley, Nia, for the WWE Women's title. And
00:18:32Bayley taking the fight to Nia Jax early, did you expect that? You know, I did expect Nia to
00:18:37attack Bayley early, but Bayley expected it as well. Countered quickly, stalls, you know,
00:18:44Bayley's one of the greatest of all time. And Nia Jax gotta be careful, remember,
00:18:49champion's advantage, Nia's gotta pin or submit Bayley to win the title.

00:19:26You know, you mentioned Nia leaving WWE and then coming back again, Corey, the Nia Jax that returned
00:19:32is better than ever. I agree wholeheartedly. And the issue is, this is something that a lot of us
00:19:37can relate to. Sometimes you're stuck on the sidelines, sometimes you're on the outside
00:19:40looking in and it drives you and it eats at you and you hope and you pray that maybe someday
00:19:45you'll get the chance to step inside the ring with someone you came up with, someone you saw as
00:19:49your equal, and now you have a chance to rip them down from the top of the mountain. And when you're
00:19:53not in the ring, you can change your perspective a little bit. She's been more focused, more
00:19:56confident from return. Big deal by Nia Jax, and now starting to overpower the woman handle, the
00:20:03champion, Bayley. She does a one-woman parade in every town that she's in. She's the queen. Proud
00:20:08of herself. Do whatever she wants. Absolutely. Nia Jax now delivers the elbow to Bayley. If Nia
00:20:14wins, do we get to do a WWE jubilee? Like a queen's jubilee for a week? Oh, I would love to be a part
00:20:20of one. I don't think, you know, I was ever... They do that in the UK. I'm a knight. And Nia Jax now
00:20:28just continuing to pound away on the champ. So Michael Cole, I am embarrassed for our country
00:20:34if that is the case. And Bayley with a kick to the midsection. One thing you cannot take away
00:20:39from Bayley, she's made a career out of it. The guts and determination. And Bayley knows how to
00:20:44survive. We talked about this with Sami Zayn earlier, which is probably not the best example
00:20:47to use because Sami eventually got knocked off. Oh, Nia Jax. But Bayley has that, a similar will,
00:20:55a will to survive, a will to be driven forward by the WWE universe. Bayley feeds off, but she
00:21:00needs to rally that. Yeah, Nia has the ruthlessness where she'll do that to your face. A million
00:21:04dollar dream, Cobra Clutch. Whatever you want to call it, it hurts.
00:21:11Nia, look at her. Wear Bayley down. Bayley taps, Nia's the champ. Bayley trying to make it back to
00:21:18her feet. Incredible atmosphere here tonight. Cleveland Brown Stadium, over 50,000 plus. It's
00:21:24been a great weekend here as well. And Bayley creates space. Nia misses wildly. And Bayley now
00:21:30in an all back suplex by Bayley. Incredible power summoned by the champion. The adrenaline
00:21:36must be pumping and Bayley now with several valuable seconds to recover. And Nia as well,
00:21:40trying to make it back to her feet. Nia is surprised I think that Bayley was able to do
00:21:45that. Uh-oh, Bayley hung up on the top rope by the 2024 Queen of the Ring. Look at Bayley. Bayley,
00:21:52relentless. Bounced off the top rope, sucked it up, hit the opposite rope, and continued to bring
00:21:59the fight to the challenger. And that is one of many reasons why Bayley is considered as great as
00:22:03she is. To your point, it seemed like Nia was dazed a little bit. And Bayley took advantage.
00:22:09Bayley trying to pull herself up. Oh, and sidestepping Nia and sending Nia Jax outside
00:22:14the ring. We talk so frequently about people who are students of the game who love this business.
00:22:18Bayley, oh my goodness. Perhaps more so than most. Bayley studies tape extensively. She's
00:22:25constantly training, constantly trying to improve. It's going to be bad. Oh,

00:23:01That's got to give Bayley an added level of confidence in this situation. Now, Bayley
00:23:06heading up top rope. Nia Jax back to her feet as well. And Nia, the wherewithal
00:23:11to cause Bayley to lose her balance. And Nia again takes over.
