00:00Okay, question or session?
00:02Yes.
00:03Following the President's announcement the other day about Supreme Court proposals,
00:06do you plan to bring any of these pieces of legislation to the floor
00:09before the election?
00:11Look, the Supreme Court is a morass.
00:14It's a true morass, both ethically and substantially.
00:18Ethically, it is just outrageous
00:21that hard-right, wealthy people
00:24who are actually paying roots to go to the Supreme Court
00:27who are at the same time giving gifts worth, in total, over millions of dollars,
00:32whether it be trips, buses, cars, hostel stays,
00:36to those same Supreme Court justices.
00:39And Chief Justice Roberts has fallen down on the job.
00:42He should be much stronger.
00:44And it's also a morass, obviously.
00:47This Court is taking away people's rights left and right,
00:50of course, a woman's right to choose,
00:52but so many other ways where they're
00:57helping the powerful big interests
00:59against the average person,
01:01taking away democracy to give the President immunity for official acts.
01:05It's nothing short of outrageous.
01:07And I'm looking at legislation to undo that.
01:10I don't know if you know from the Constitutional Amendment
01:12that you can do it by legislation.
01:15And so I think they need a lot of changes,
01:18and we're looking at a whole lot of things.
