Floodwater cleanup underway in Hunan

Soldiers cleared mud and disinfected walls after extreme floods in Hunan province in which the waters reached up to 5m above their usual levels.

In Zixing, 30 residents died after Typhoon Gaemi lashed the region with record rains in late July – and local officials said that 35 people were still missing.
