00:15The moviegoers gave a big round of applause to the 2024 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival movie, Balota,

00:22in their Gaylan Night.

00:25The movie was made by Capuso's prime-time queen, Marian Rivera,

00:30along with the whole cast and director, Kip Uebanda.

00:35Aside from the beautiful message of the movie about the importance of every vote and choosing a leader,

00:42the brave and no-filter act of Marian as Teacher Emy in her first Cinemalaya film was also great.

00:51I told you, my experience here in Balota is priceless.

00:55That's why I said, I'm really thankful that I was able to do this.

00:59I noticed on social media that Marian's love for this role is overwhelming.

01:04We knew that when we were shooting it, that she gave it her all.

01:07But to see people appreciate it is really something else.

01:10Especially in Cinemalaya because Cinemalaya crowd is very hard to please.

01:14It's fun. You know, you can feel the vibe of Cinemalaya again.

01:17You can see people coming back to the cinema to listen to the movies.

01:23And of course, it's an honor to work with Director Kip and of course, Miss Marian Rivera.

01:30As for the viewers and full support to Ian, Mr. Capuso's prime-time king, Ding Dong Dantes.
