00:00Alright, hi people, it's Jeezer, and I'm here to do another unboxing for you guys today

00:06of the S.H.

00:07Figuarts re-release, basically, of Super Saiyan Son Gohan, The Fighter Who Surpassed Goku.

00:17This is Gohan from the end of the Android saga, when they go to the Cell games, and

00:27it's right before he goes to Super Saiyan 2 though, for some reason they did not include

00:31a Super Saiyan 2 head with this, I imagine they're going to re-release, or they're going

00:39to do another version at some point with the Super Saiyan 2 head and faces and everything,

00:46with some other extras as well to gouge people for more money, but yeah, so, yeah, I didn't

00:55really expect them to do this, but I'm glad that they did.

00:57I do have the original release of the figure, where they did include a Super Saiyan 2 head

01:05with him, this is the San Diego Comic Con exclusive version that has the anime colors,

01:09they originally released this with the manga colors, which, the only real difference I

01:13believe is the belt and wrist straps are red in the manga, versus the anime they were blue,

01:20which is why Piccolo, his belt on his gi is red, I believe, or no, it's blue, but his

01:28wrist straps are red, weird in-between there, but yeah, but yeah, so, yeah, so, here we

01:40go, this is with their new molding system and styling and everything I believe, so yeah,

01:47new way of doing the faces, so yeah, S.H.Figuarts, Super Saiyan 7 Gohan and everything, render

01:53the figure, picture and everything, so yeah, Dragon Ball Z, it's the Toshinations quality

02:03sticker, it's the animation certificate of license grant, Toshinations and Bandai, got

02:11the spine, or side right here, another side, bottom, and the back, and then the different

02:21poses, it's pretty cool, so yeah, so, here we go, so, as you can see right here, it comes

02:44with technically four different faces, two different heads, one is his normal Super Saiyan

02:502, or no, Super Saiyan 1 hair, surprisingly they didn't include a version of him with

02:55just his normal black hair, maybe they'll do that at some point too, maybe with the

03:00Super Saiyan 2 variant, and then we have a version of him, this isn't him with his Super

03:07Saiyan 2 hair, it's his normal hair, just flailing in the wind as he's doing an attack,

03:18so yeah, and we got a bunch of hands, which is nice, and then his little Piccolo cape,

03:25which, huh, the cape itself is cloth, with whatever this is that's like, allowing me

03:35to bend it a bit, that's actually pretty cool, because the original cape here was plastic,

03:45and yeah, so here we go, with this Gohan, comparing him to the original, they're about

03:55the same size, the coloring is different for their skin color, this one's more faded out,

04:04or washed out, which I don't really understand that, this has like the same coloring as,

04:09I'm trying to remember, I think it's Nagato, like, well like, how old is he in, should

04:18you put it in like 14, I think it's that figure I'm thinking of, where he just has really

04:25pale skin for no reason, meanwhile this may look a little too tan, now that I look at

04:32it, so, yeah, but they are very similar, they're about the same height, like I said,

04:44so yeah, and they have similar proportions, this one's a bit skinnier and everything,

04:48and a bit smaller it looks like, never mind the years of dust, but yeah, but he looks

04:59completely fine, so in terms of articulation, spin the head around like this, spin it around

05:06in a 360, arms you can move in a 90 degree angle just about, or a 30 degree angle, whatever

05:19that is, or no, 45 maybe, double ball joints on the elbows, which is good, spin this around

05:28so yeah, and then his torso, move it all around which is good, ooh, did not mean to

05:42do that, okay, luckily you can just pop it back on pretty easily, but yeah, so his legs

05:52he can get basically a 45 degree angle, which is nice, the knees, double ball joints, which

05:58is nice, and toe joints, and the feet, you can't, don't have too much of a range of motion,

06:07but you know, there you go, so now, put the cape on,

06:37feels like I should be able to get it a bit lower, but yeah, um, it's kind of awkward

07:03but I'm not going to worry, I'm just going to switch out the face too because, you know,

07:12so I think, um, the original you take off the hair, okay so they, it's basically the

07:23same, take out the face, okay, yeah, for some reason in the render, his face looks

07:39really weird, compared to the actual figure it looks better, or which looks better, you

07:48know, diggy diggy diggy there, sorry I got scooby doo and the cyberchase on my brain,

08:02okay so, yeah, okay so that worked out okay, um,

08:32so yeah, so compared to the recently re-released piccolo figure, they match up pretty good

08:45because, mainly because like, well, they're more based on the anime colors and everything,

08:50but gohan's cape, it's a lot better than piccolo's, I don't know why they did piccolo's the way

08:56they did, if they re-engineered gohan's to actually be a cloth cape, yeah piccolo's is

09:03purple, or not purple, plastic, I don't know how I got those words mixed up, but yeah,

09:12and then to compare to the original s-h figure, pretty similar across the board, just doesn't

09:22have the coloring on the cape obviously because it's cloth instead of plastic, it doesn't

09:27need necessarily anything to really accent it, yeah, the hair is also very different

09:33in terms of coloring, yeah, so, yeah, it's actually a pretty good figure, pretty good

09:42redo of this version of gohan, so yeah, they're also going to re-release the superhero version

09:48of gohan, and I know the super version of vegeta, super saiyan blue version of vegeta,

09:57and yeah, I'm assuming they'll do a super saiyan 2 of gohan at some point, I wouldn't

10:02be surprised, um, and probably gonna, like, have his normal head with um, I'm surprised

10:10they didn't have a normal head with this one, but yeah, so um, yeah, not much else to say,
