00:00I've been away from the game a long time and I left to make the most perfect human that
00:17has ever lived. Yeah, that's you. You're the most perfect human that ever lived. They asked
00:22me to come back and it seemed like an enticing offer. Um, come back for a championship match
00:29second biggest play of the year, the biggest in terms of crowd wise that we've had all
00:34year and that we will have all year. I think I've been in the business long enough to know
00:38that you don't turn those opportunities down. But I just still yearn for that interaction
00:49with the audience and there's nothing else that can fill it. No matter how fulfilling
00:53my life is with her, uh, I need that. I'm like a junkie, you know, I need that aspect
00:59to, I think, be, be my best self. Growing up, I always had this yearning to go off and
01:08do something big. It's a very unlikely story. I was so bad at it, but I loved it. For the
01:20first time in my life, I wanted to become better at something. When she started in WWE,
01:26she was fighting from the bottom, but she's an underdog. She's a fighter. I wasn't pegged
01:33to be a star. I knew something had to change. I knew something had to be different. Her
01:40goal was to go and be the best she could be worldwide. Becky is a great example of
02:03women not having to choose. I wanted to have a child and I wanted to be a mother. Nobody
02:11had gone, had a kid, and then come back as a full-time worker. But I've always been a
02:17little bit of a rebel. I wasn't meant to be the talk of the entire industry, but here
02:26I am. I grew up in Dublin, Ireland, in a pretty small house in a pretty small neighborhood.
02:48Rebecca was born on the 30th of January, 1987. She was due on the 30th of January and she
02:54arrived on time. She's always been sort of accurate about everything. It was fun from
03:00the time she was born. When she started crawling, she did it with great style, like a panther,
03:07you know, just nice and gently. So it was always great fun, yeah. My parents were separated
03:14when I was one, but my mom was a flight attendant. And so it was a lot on her to be looking after
03:21two kids. I have one older brother, Richie, and so she let my dad move back into the house.
03:27We did everything together as a family, only just my parents weren't together. My dad was
03:32always creative, great imagination, anything is possible. My mom was, you got to work,
03:40you got to be realistic, you got to stick to a plan. And combined, here I am. And then
03:47when I was 11, that was around the time I started drinking and smoking the wacky stuff
03:53and doing all the things that I wasn't supposed to do and not doing well in school. And I
03:58decided that I should probably try and turn my life around. And at the time I was a giant
04:03wrestling fan, big wrestling fan. They'd be on live and be on at like one or two in the
04:11morning over here. So we used to always stay up and watch them and that was great. We used
04:15to kind of bounce around on my mom's bed and sort of, you know, headlock or whatever. I
04:20started thinking of, you know, who do I want to be like? You know, who do I love? And I
04:24love like Mick Foley and I love his ability to tell stories. And I loved Lita. She was so cool
04:38and she was badass. She had these big shoulders. And so I wanted to try working out to look like
04:44Lita. But I didn't want to just go to the gym and do something conventional because I was an
04:49unconventional kid. But what I did discover was that they were opening a wrestling school in
04:55Ireland. And it was about an hour away from me. It was going to be opened up by a man named
05:01Fergal Devitt, i.e. Finn Balor.
05:06Myself and Paul Tracy, a lifelong friend of mine and my tag team partner at the time, decided we
05:12would open a training school in our hometown of Bray County, Wicklow.
05:16You have to be 16 to join. I was only 15. So I had to lie about my age.
05:22She actually told me she was doing something else. She told me she was doing Brazilian
05:26jiu-jitsu, is that the word? And I thought, well, that's fine.
05:29And she hated wrestling, hated wrestling. My dad, my dad drove me down there, gave me the
05:36tenor so that I could do it.
05:38It was just a passion with her. And then once she took it on, she took it on more or less
05:43full time.
05:45I was the only girl in the place. And you have to believe me when I say I was off.
05:56She was terrible. She was uncoordinated. She was unathletic. She was a disaster.
06:07I was so bad at it, but I did not care. For the first time in my life, I wanted to become
06:13better at something.
06:15She consistently grew and developed and changed her approach and her look and her
06:19character and her gear. Constantly questioned everything, second guessed everything.
06:26I think if there's nothing else that you can learn from looking at Becky, it's if you stick to
06:32something and you give it your heart and soul, you will get better.
06:38Once she took it up, she was more focused and she became more focused in school. I could see a
06:42change in her. Still didn't like the idea that she was doing wrestling. I think so then.
06:48I was 17 when it clicked that I could actually make a living from this.
07:01I dropped out of college and I moved off to Canada.
07:08And then suddenly, stuff just took off.
07:11There is a suplex by Rebecca Knox, who again has all the talent in the world.
07:18Took some bookings in the UK. I wrestled her in France. I ended up getting booked in Japan.
07:27Every goal that I wanted was happening.
07:31I remember hearing rumblings about this European girl, Rebecca Knox, that everybody was talking about.
07:40Rebecca Knox just turned 19. Just how skilled she is at this point in her career.
07:46And then I remember one day, it just, it was gone.
07:52Amber getting hurt in a show in Germany.
07:57I suplexed the girl, she landed on my face.
08:01I got concussed and my eyes split open.
08:05Well, she came in from Germany and I saw the injury. It was me who said to her,
08:10you have to stop. This has gone too far.
08:13I left for seven years.
08:18I didn't have to leave wrestling at 19, but I was going up against my mom who didn't want me wrestling,
08:23but who was putting a roof over my head.
08:29I was putting a roof over my head because I couldn't support myself.
08:33I kind of used that as an excuse to step away.
08:36Like, I got so in my head, I got to succeed, I got to succeed, I got to succeed, I got to succeed.
08:40But then it was like, oh, but what if I do? And what if I'm not good enough?
08:44I couldn't face that. I couldn't face it anymore.
08:47I became a flight attendant. I was a personal trainer. I taught Pilates.
08:52I taught English as a foreign language. I went back to college. I studied clown.
08:58I kept trying to grasp at things. Maybe this will make me feel complete. Maybe this will make me feel whole.
09:04And none of it did. None of it gave me that same drive and that same purpose that wrestling did.
09:11Then it was like, ah, you'll never be able to truly move on unless you find out.
09:19Robbie Brookside was talent scout for WWE. I had met him years earlier wrestling in the UK.
09:25I call up Robbie Brookside and say, hey, Robbie, do you remember me, Rebecca Knox?
09:30Robbie was like, I wonder what happened to you? And we'd love to have you for this tryout.
09:36I said, Dad, I'm going for this and I'm not coming back.
09:41But that was her determination and you can't stop that. All you can do is encourage it.
09:47And I knew there is no way they're going to say no to me.
09:55WWE Performance Center is everything that I pictured a wrestling school would be when I was 15.
10:03And this is where they grow talent. And so I went for my tryout and I knew like there was just a good feeling.
10:13There is no way they're going to say no to me. I will die before I quit.
10:18And I got it. I got it.
10:20I think I was one of two people that got it.
10:24And almost immediately, my confidence went from a 10 to a negative 300.
10:35I felt insecure about not being the cookie cutter star that other people were.
10:43You didn't look at me and say, that's a star.
10:45We were all fighting, you know, to be in that spot.
10:49NXT and we're fighting our own insecurities and trying to find a character.
10:55And that's so it's like growing pains together.
10:58I was willing to do anything to keep my job.
11:05Becky Lynch making her NXT debut.
11:08What is this?
11:09She's Irish. She's very leprechaun like.
11:12Here I was at 27 going out there doing a silly Irish dance being like, this is my introduction to the world.
11:21Push me to the moon. Why don't you?
11:25I was like, all right, maybe that's not the one. What else am I?
11:30The issue wasn't about who I was.
11:32I was like, all right, maybe that's not the one. What else am I?
11:38The issue was that we still didn't know who Becky Lynch was.
11:43Charlotte Flair had this great advantage of being a Flair.
11:47You knew this is Nature Boy Ric Flair's daughter.
11:51Sasha Banks came out with the rings on and the music and she was the boss.
11:56Becky Lynch came out and although she had a unique look and had all the skill in the world.
12:03Who was she?
12:05This is my empire and there is no one that is better than me.
12:11So welcome, Devin. Welcome everyone to NXT.
12:17But eventually we got it. She's Becky Lynch.
12:20She's someone who loves this the way we love it.
12:22One of the most energized Divas you will find. She is fun to watch.
12:27Her in-ring work was really good, but also her personality was very charming.
12:32She was the girl that went in there and tried her hardest and that was like relatable.
12:37Becky Lynch is exactly the breath of fresh air that this Divas division needs.
12:42That passion never left her. Whatever she's doing, she gives it 100%.
12:47Her national.
12:53Women are making their mark and it is time for us to make a change in the Divas division right now.
13:02When I announced Becky Lynch and the boss Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair, I mean the crowd was going nuts.
13:11Three women who have revolutionized NXT.
13:15All three of these characters were being introduced to that main roster WWE audience at the same time.
13:22But honestly, Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks were portrayed as much bigger stars than Becky Lynch was.
13:34I do believe that WWE had their stars in mind who was going to come out of it on top, you know.
13:40You're never going to be a Divas champion. You know why? Because you're the least relevant of all of us.
13:46I wasn't pegged to be a star. I was not pegged to be a main eventer.
13:52I wasn't pegged to be a champion and I wasn't supposed to be in that triple challenge.
14:04It was supposed to just be Charlotte and Sasha. That was the intention.
14:08But I had really gained momentum as a sympathetic babyface.
14:14She had fought to be in that storyline. It just made sense to be a triple threat.
14:20I don't think that night could have been possible without everyone playing a specific role.
14:34I'm at Comic-Con. San Diego Comic-Cons of all Comic-Cons.
14:39They come over to me, they go, oh my gosh, we want to show you this.
14:43It's commemorative of that amazing WrestleMania 32 match.
14:49And I'm like, oh, wow. And they open it up and it's Charlotte and Sasha.
14:53And I go, oh, wow. Wow, that's cool.
15:00I was just like, oh, I was in that match too.
15:09It felt metaphorical that this was what was going to happen from now on.
15:15I can really screw with you to feel like the company's not behind you.
15:19You have to have a lot of conversations with yourself to be like, all right, why do I have to overcome all of this?
15:25She had asked me what she should do different or what I thought.
15:30I was going out there. The crowd were always giving me great reactions.
15:34When the crowd's already behind you, well, do I need to change or do they need to change?
15:40Does the booking need to change? And I suppose it was a bit of both.
15:52For about two years, I had gone from the pinnacle, from being one of the headline acts at WrestleMania 32,
15:59stealing the damn show, to kind of getting lost in the shuffle.
16:05I just wasn't a priority.
16:07I have put this division and every division that I have been in on my shoulders
16:14and lifted it as high as I possibly can.
16:17My rewards? That I get to sit backstage and I'll eat some catering.
16:23It felt like in a lot of ways they could only put attention on one person at a time.
16:27So at that point, it was Charlotte that they were putting all the attention on.
16:31I was in line for a single opportunity title shot at SummerSlam.
16:37Becky Lynch faces off against Carmella for the SmackDown Women's Championship at SummerSlam.
16:43And in the audience's eyes, I was finally getting what I deserved.
16:47I was getting a singles match at SummerSlam, at a big event. And so it was huge.
16:53And then Charlotte was inserted into the match.
16:58The crowd were pissed off for me.
17:02The following contest scheduled for one fall is a triple threat match for the SmackDown Women's Championship.
17:10The match happens. I have the armbar on Carmella.
17:14Charlotte hits me with her move from behind.
17:22Pins me. The crowd's on their feet. They're anticipating this.
17:28They're waiting for me to say, I'm tired of this s*** that I've had.
17:32And then I hug her. And they boo.
17:45I slapped the b*** out of her.
17:53Come on, Becky. One's the best friend.
17:57This is one of my favorite moments in this era of WWE.
18:01Because it's a moment where the fans are all on the same page.
18:09Finally, Becky Lynch is taking her spot.
18:15The crowd loved it. They loved me being an a**hole.
18:19And it became this revolutionary thing.
18:22Tonight, a friendship cast aside.
18:34I posted a picture on social media. It said, I am the man.
18:38And that was it. It caught fire.
18:41The next week, there was signs everywhere.
18:45Beating Charlotte Flair, the most decorated woman in WWE, proved I am the man.
18:51She just kind of flipped the switch.
18:54Becky Lynch, the superstar, to as soon as she called herself the man.
18:59You could just feel the shift in her.
19:02I wasn't meant to be the talk of the entire industry.
19:06But here I am.
19:10She is brutally honest, yes. Brutally honest.
19:14The man in the states is the top dog, if you like.
19:18Becky Lynch's popularity was growing and growing and growing.
19:23But there was one single moment that really cemented her position as the man.
19:32The man has arrived.
19:35Becky Lynch is marching down to the ring.
19:38Wait a minute, who the hell would that?
19:41The SmackDown women's division is attacking Monday Night Raw.
19:45All out assault from the SmackDown women's division.
19:48Monday Night Raw ends with a massive brawl.
19:53Becky Lynch gets in that ring and while all this is going on, she takes a punch to the face, breaking her nose.
20:00A chaotic scene here.
20:05Becky Lynch all busted up.
20:08I got punched. I am somehow out on my feet.
20:11I expect you to have a broken nose. Obviously she doesn't care.
20:17I've never seen women with blood on their faces.
20:20It just doesn't happen that often.
20:22And it went viral.
20:28It caught a lot of traction with mainstream media outlets.
20:31In a lot of ways it got the fans behind her more than ever before.
20:42I remember my brother texting me and saying, I think we should spend Christmas with dad this year.
20:52Dad has lung cancer.
20:55And all of the wrestling stuff seemed a little less important.
21:01It's like time hasn't passed.
21:04And it was like it was yesterday.
21:07Just straight back in.
21:08And I remember seeing him and telling him, I've got some anemia this year.
21:12I'd love to bring you over for it.
21:14He goes, well, we'll see.
21:16I said, we'll see what?
21:18We'll see if I'm still here.
21:20And I remember being.
21:31This Christmas, it's a special one.
21:34Just being able to spend time with my dad.
21:37And being able to see my friends and my family.
21:41Because you never know what next year is going to bring.
21:48To main event Wrestlemania, every wrestler's dream.
21:51WWE had never had women in the main event.
21:54But Becky Lynch and her rise made it impossible for fans to want anything besides wrestling.
22:01For fans to want anything besides her match.
22:05To be in the main event of that year's Wrestlemania.
22:08I don't care who I have to beat anymore.
22:11Whether it's the Golden Girl, Charlotte Flair, or whether it's Ronda Rousey.
22:15At Wrestlemania, I am reclaiming everything they have tried to take from me to give to someone else.
22:22I got a phone call from Vince McMahon.
22:25And he said, congratulations, you're going to main event Wrestlemania.
22:31And he said, congratulations, you're going to main event Wrestlemania.
22:41Oh, did he hit you?
22:43Get a little...
22:44It's very large.
22:48It's a big ol' place.
22:51I met Kobe Lopez.
22:53My first time on the road.
22:56We were on separate shows, so we didn't even see each other that often.
22:59But I always looked forward to seeing him.
23:02You know, we started talking, hanging out a little bit more.
23:05Just talking, flirting a little bit more.
23:07And the first time we kissed was Royal Rumble weekend.
23:09He'd been flirting with me so much, so it was like, alright.
23:13Put up or shut up.
23:15You know?
23:16You gonna be about it or you just gonna talk about it?
23:18Come on.
23:23It's pretty freaking incredible.
23:25It's one thing to look out at it now when it's empty.
23:27And it's not that intimidating.
23:30It's gonna be a different story when you're looking out and this is all filled.
23:34Like right up to the top.
23:35Every single seat filled.
23:38Everybody looking forward to the main event.
23:42And the main event.
23:52It was after midnight, I think, by the time I made my entrance.
23:55Despite the fact the crowd had been sitting there for eight hours.
23:59They were still willing me to win.
24:01They knew that they were witnessing history.
24:04For the first time ever, women are in the main event.
24:07As Becky Lynch marches to the ring tonight to take on Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey.
24:14With both championships on the line, this is what it's all about.
24:19Winner take all.
24:21An electric atmosphere here tonight in our main event at WrestleMania.
24:24And a big right by Becky Lynch.
24:26And Becky right believes in God.
24:29You could feel, not only just hear them pulling for Becky, but they wanted it.
24:34They needed it.
24:37Let's go Becky chance.
24:39Thunder is here.
24:43Piper's pinned.
24:45Becky.
24:46Shoulders down.
24:48Becky Lynch.
24:50Becky Lynch.
24:52Becky Lynch is the winner take all.
24:57And is both Raw and SmackDown Women's Champion.
25:10One of the things I love about life is to see people succeed at what they do because of their passion.
25:17And she has that in spades.
25:19I really made a cognitive effort to enjoy it.
25:24It's about enjoying the journey because that's where all the fun is.
25:35She went through a lot that day, a lot to get there.
25:38But it was really a special moment and it was awesome to be able to be there for her.
25:42I love you.
25:43I love you.
25:47I don't know that you ever feel like you made it.
25:50You don't ever stop to smell the roses.
25:53You just keep on going.
25:56Week after week, month after month, Becky Lynch is on a roll unlike possibly anybody else in WWE.
26:03Life was happening quick and fast and incredible and chaotic.
26:10She just blew up and she became the face of the company she's been carrying it ever since.
26:17Every opportunity was coming to me like getting to work with The Rock.
26:21The man and the great one, side by side.
26:25Being on Billion.
26:29Being in a SportsCenter commercial.
26:31Being on the cover of ESPN.
26:33She's actually got 3 million followers on Instagram.
26:36That's more than half the population of Ireland.
26:43It was just wild.
26:46And in the midst of all of that, I also got engaged to the love of my life.
26:51She was game.
26:52Big win.
26:53Big win for me.
26:58So, how pregnant are you right now?
27:03Six weeks and three days.
27:04Six weeks and three days.
27:06What's the size of your baby?
27:08It's the size of a sweet pea.
27:10Freaking insane that something the size of a sweet pea can just make you feel so sh**y.
27:20I think it was March 27th that I found out that I was pregnant.
27:27This is something that I wanted my whole life.
27:29But then you realize just how much it's going to change everything.
27:36I don't know, maybe just a little bit of reality that,
27:39okay, I'm going to have to walk away from this for a while.
27:44There were so many questions and no concrete answers.
27:48You never know how you're going to come back.
27:50If you're going to come back, if you're going to want to come back,
27:53what's that going to look like?
27:54And as happy as you are to be the champion, I might be a little bit happier.
27:59So, you go and be a warrior, because I'm going to go be a mother.
28:04I had my ambitions for what I wanted in my career.
28:08But I also wanted to find somebody that I loved and settle down and have a family at some point.
28:16Why can't I do both?
28:18And I shouldn't have to worry about that.
28:21The crazy wrestling business that we've become accustomed to that says like,
28:25no, you can't do that, you have to wait until you're done.
28:29Well, I don't want to be done.
28:34It was a lot of relief and happiness, and now we just got to go figure out
28:38how to tackle this new thing that we've never done, parenting.
28:42I love you so much.
28:43People kept asking me, they were like, how are we going to talk 2019?
28:48I think this comes opposite.
28:58The first few weeks, I was quite worried about, is this the biggest mistake I've ever made?
29:03Like, have I made a mistake?
29:06And I was like, no.
29:07I was quite worried about, is this the biggest mistake I've ever made?
29:11Like, have I lost all of my momentum?
29:16What does this mean for everything else?
29:29I suppose at the end of the day, there's nothing you can do about that, you know,
29:33so you kind of have to make peace with it all.
29:34And whether it was the right decision or the wrong decision, it was the decision.
29:38And you're going to be inviting a human into the world.
29:44It's hard to explain. I just feel like, like I just don't have any push anymore.
29:49Like my head isn't tired, but like my body just feels like,
29:53it just doesn't have that extra gear, you know?
29:55She was at the gym every day, staying in shape and trying to find ways to,
30:00you know, plot her return.
30:01So it was, it was never ending.
30:03Like she cannot be contained, not even for a second.
30:12We're 30, almost 35 weeks tomorrow, or 30, 35.
30:17And yeah, the workouts have slowed.
30:21She's still moving.
30:24Let's not, let's not take for granted the fact that she's still moving at 35 weeks pregnant,
30:29doing squats like an animal.
30:32She was embarking on this journey, this new path in her life,
30:37freshly laden tracks, if you will.
30:39She was kind of venturing out into the unknown one more time.
30:45We're at the hospital.
30:47It is currently, what time is it?
30:49It is 8.18.
30:518.18 p.m. on December 3rd.
30:54We'll see what happens.
30:56All right.
30:5824 hours of excruciating labor later.
31:02There she was.
31:14It was the best little noise I've ever heard.
31:17And they just placed her on my chest and it was the coolest,
31:22coolest thing in the world.
31:28Her name is Rue Quinn Lopez.
31:31I found Rue on a list and I loved it.
31:34And I wanted something to honor my dad, so we put Quinn in there.
31:38I still can't believe we made her.
31:41Yeah, we did.
31:43Yeah.
31:45It's a lot, it was a lot of stress, but it was also a pretty fun, exciting experience.
31:51I mean, she's always had kind of like a motherly instinct about her,
31:54but that has intensified greatly since she's had a daughter.
31:57And so I think just seeing that part kick in has been pretty fun to watch.
32:08At that time, my dad started to go downhill.
32:12My brother told me, you know, like, like, we don't know how long he has left.
32:18I was like, how are you doing, dad?
32:21And he said, I'm not doing too well, Bex.
32:26And he never told me that he wasn't doing well.
32:33And then he said, I'm on my way out, Bex.
32:39On Wednesday night at 10 p.m., my brother called to say that he had passed.
32:55The one thing everybody tells me is he just would have loved to have met Ru.
33:00He was real happy to be a granddad.
33:04My dad was the one that took me to plays and my dad was the one that took me to the movies.
33:08My dad was the one that encouraged me to write every day and encouraged me to read and tell stories.
33:15His biggest accomplishment was being a dad, you know, and that was the thing that he was most proud of.
33:21And it was the thing that he was best at, too.
33:26I want to be able to support her the way that he supported us.
33:44Oh, is this it?
33:46Is this the first one back?
33:48Yeah, I guess so.
33:49Uh-huh, here we go.
33:51Tuck that chin.
33:58F**k, that already gave me a headache.
34:01Yeah, it might be the caffeine.
34:05I anticipate that it will be a fair adjustment getting back into wrestling, especially now with this whole other more important entity.
34:17First few days, I think there was a lot of frustration and she was worried that she wouldn't be able to do what she had done before,
34:24live up to the expectations that she felt like people might have for her, maybe that she had for herself.
34:30It's easy to fall into the trap of feeling like you're obsolete.
34:35I've been training, I've been getting in the ring, I've been taking bumps again.
34:40Oh, that felt good.
34:41See?
34:42That felt good.
34:43Felt like wrestling, right?
34:44That felt good, yeah.
34:46You know, and she's got a new body, you know?
34:48When you're a woman and you have a child, like, things are not in the same place they used to be.
34:53And, you know, your body doesn't work the same way.
34:56And she's breastfeeding as well.
34:59I kind of passed that pain threshold and was on the other side.
35:04I'm just ready, I'm ready to go.
35:06But there was one more thing I still needed to take care of while I still had the time off.
35:12By the power vested in me by the great state of Hawaii, I now pronounce you guys married.
35:20Now you may kiss.
35:22We were supposed to get married in the summer of 2020, but then COVID happened and everything got pushed.
35:28You look so pretty.
35:30What an angel.
35:31But it was great.
35:32It was just super low-maintenance, super easygoing, super chill.
35:37And now it was time.
35:38After 15 months away, it was finally time for my comeback.
35:49Welcome, WJC!
35:52Welcome, WWE Universe here in Las Vegas at the biggest party of the summer.
36:01It's been a while, two years.
36:03Hush.
36:05I think once we get tonight over with, maybe it'll start to feel a bit normal for me.
36:12Yeah, you used to be a crazy person.
36:15I've been gearing up for this.
36:18Yeah, you used to be a crazy person.
36:21I've been gearing up for coming back to SummerSlam.
36:23I've been training, I've been getting in the ring, I've been taking the bumps again.
36:27I'm just ready. I'm ready to go.
36:30Does it feel real?
36:31Oh yeah, it feels real.
36:33I'm excited and I'm excited.
36:34I'm nervous.
36:35I'm f***ing nervous as hell.
36:37I'm real excited.
36:39I knew that she was going to come back and try to reclaim her throne.
36:42I just didn't expect for her to come back at SummerSlam.
36:48What?
36:49Wait a minute. No, no, no, no, no.
36:51No, it can't be.
36:52Yes! One of the biggest stars on the planet.
36:56Becky Lynch is back!
36:59The first moment, the crowd all lost it.
37:03I was just over the moon.
37:05So I really felt that.
37:08I believe Bianca's accepted the challenge for Becky Lynch's official lapel rings.
37:12And here we go.
37:13Here we go. Belair, Lynch with a SmackDown Women's title.
37:17And Becky Lynch taking care of business with a manhandle slam.
37:21Cover. Lynch wins the battle.
37:24In five minutes of being back there, I have my championship back.
37:26I was back on top.
37:36Oh, thank you.
37:38I love you.
37:39I love you, Becky.
37:41There's nothing that stands in her way.
37:43Anytime she sets her mind to wanting to do something, it just gets done.
37:48Being able to come back and take that back and not lose a step, it felt pretty amazing.
38:01I came back and normally getting photos, you're doing interviews, you're just relaxing.
38:05But I have to go be mom now.
38:07Now my little baby was there.
38:09She needed me.
38:10She needed to have a bath and go to bed.
38:11So that was what I came back and did.
38:25Gosh, if anybody's troubled with a baby, I think they know the challenges of it.
38:29But it's amazing.
38:30It's the best.
38:31She's gotten to see the whole world before she can even remember the whole world.
38:37Just seeing her now play with Rue and she always has her backstage and just the way that she is as a mom
38:43and the way that Rue looks at her and is so attached to her.
38:51Yeah, I don't know how she does it.
38:53We're in a time in WWE where we're in a locker room and we look on the floor and we see wrestling boots,
38:58but we also see a diaper beside it.
39:00And I think that's amazing.
39:02Are you hungry?
39:03You want some food?
39:04You want some food?
39:05You want some food?
39:06She's such a terrible eater.
39:07My God.
39:08I'm sad that your daughter's all alone.
39:11They say you can't have it all, right?
39:13It's a very cool thing to see what she's been able to do.
39:17And to be able to show our daughter that as well is a huge driver and a huge motivator for her.
39:27She's doing NXT.
39:29She's doing Raw.
39:30She's being a mom.
39:31She's writing a book.
39:32She just doesn't want to stop.
39:34She enjoys it.
39:35Learning how to write a book is quite intimidating, knowing what's important and what's not.
39:41But when I'm out there taking risks, that's always when I do my best work.
39:48WrestleMania, welcome to the big time.
39:54I think Becky can achieve anything that she sets her mind to.
39:57And she will, without question, far exceed her own expectations.
40:02And it's thunderous in here!
40:04People love Becky, the person.
40:07And so they're going to cheer for her in whatever she does.
40:11Dreams don't happen by accident.
40:13Becky has worked and earned everything that she has got.
40:18And I just wish her all the happiness in the world.
40:23She's done so much, but I feel like she's always wanting to do more.
40:27In many ways, it feels like she's just getting started.
40:30And I just don't think there's anything she can't do.
40:34At the end of the day, you have to trust yourself.
40:39When I've trusted myself, magic has happened.
40:43Becky Lynch said earlier that this is everything I've worked for.
40:48She is determined beyond anyone I know.
40:51And that's how she's gotten where she's gotten.
40:54The man with a leg drop!
40:58It's the ultimate testament to how far determination and grit will get you.
41:04She's the best wife, the best mother, the best friend I've ever had.
41:07She's going to have some big shoes to fill,
41:09but she'll have a great role model to look up to in her mom.
41:13I was never really meant to be here.
41:15It comes down to surviving, to being tested,
41:18to taking the hard times and turning them into part of the journey.
41:23I was not born to be a champion.
41:26I fought to be a champion.
41:32Look at your little mug face.
41:34What are you doing?
41:36You dance with me.
41:37Oh, well, Mama's...
41:44Oh, I dance with you, pretend?
41:46Yeah.
41:47Oh, okay.
41:48Yeah!
41:49Yay!
41:52Let's go!
