Northern 92 open tattoo studio in Burnley
A new tattoo studio has opened on Plumbe Street in Burnley.

00:00Over 92 it's like a culmination of mine and Paul's friendship and drive to create good
00:07tattoos within Burnley. We opened on the 10th of June and since then it's grown into a business
00:15where we've got multiple artists covering all different styles and genres of tattoos
00:21and it's going really well. Everyone has their own individual inspiration, you can find it
00:27all over the place, online, Facebook, Instagram, social media, so basically what we do is they'll
00:33come in, they'll explain what they want and it's up to us then to create a unique design for them.
00:39Certainly during my time in the industry you've seen a massive progression in the quality of
00:45tattoo artwork and stuff and that's what it actually is nowadays, it's artwork, it's all
00:49about creating like an art piece rather than just a little single tattoo on someone's arm
00:55and I think that's what's gained a lot of popularity within the general population,
01:01people like having that piece of art on them rather than just an old traditional tattoo.
01:06We have a lot of people from the local area of Burnley, that's where the majority of our
01:11clients come from but we have a much further audience as well, we've tattooed people from
01:18down south, I've been abroad as well, I've been to America and Greece and Australia so I've got
01:23clients from all them countries too. It's the same with all the other artists here as well,
01:27Aidan's from Great Horde, he's got a lot of clients from there, Megan's from Cologne,
01:31she's got a lot of clients from there so it's a big wide audience that we cater for and we're
01:36happy with that.
