00:00Hi, my name is Vivian Robinson.
00:10I'm an Olympic super fan on Instagram.
00:15And this is my seventh Olympic.
00:18I started going to the Olympics in 1984.
00:21My mom, she was a volunteer.
00:23And she would take the press to meet the athletes and translate French.
00:28And she would bring me home all the pins from the athletes.
00:32This is from the German Olympic team.
00:34Okay.
00:35In 1996, in Atlanta, I went to trade pins.
00:40And after that, 2000 Sydney, 2004 Athens, 2012 was London, and 2016 was Rio, and now
00:50Paris, 2024.
00:53I wanted to go to Beijing Olympics.
00:56I had my visa and everything, but then I ended up, I didn't have enough money to go.
01:00So I missed out on that one.
01:08I've been to quite a few events already.
01:10I went to football, and archery, and badminton, and table tennis.
01:15But the best one so far, I got to see Simone Biles in gymnastics.
01:20Hello.
01:23I'm a star for one week.
01:30A lot of people come up to me every day.
01:33I walk about two steps, they want a picture.
01:35Two steps, another picture.
01:37But it's okay.
01:38I like to accommodate, and the people look so happy.
01:41Oh, the reason I love the Olympics is because the atmosphere.
01:45You meet people from all over the world.
01:47Everybody seems to be in a good mood.
01:49I worked two jobs to be able to come to these Olympics.
01:52I worked in the morning making necklaces at Venice Beach.
01:55At night I was bagging groceries, and I get a little tiny bit of retirement money.
02:00But it took me a long time to save up, and I worked very hard, and I spent probably $10,000.
02:08I never spent so much in my life.
02:11But it's well worth it, and I would do it again.
