00:00Thirteen barangays in Batangas have an active case of African Swine Fever based on the latest report by the Bureau of Animal Industry.

00:37Currently, there are less than 20 hogs operating in the barangay Sorosoro Ibaba, Batangas City, according to the local government.

00:45They are being extra careful in securing biosecurity and obtaining permits for the hogs,

00:50based on the latest reports of African Swine Fever cases in Batangas Province.

00:54All the biosecurity is being checked.

00:57All the trucks that enter the barangay are being disinfected at the animal checkpoint at the entry point of Sorosoro Ibaba.

01:06Even though the ESF has yet to issue a report in Batangas City, the hog racer Larry is still worried.

02:13the delivery trucks that carry the pigs are not allowed to enter and exit the barangay

02:19because they need to show their acceptance certificate and barangay permit first.

02:24The National Meat Inspection Service is closely monitoring the situation.

02:28Before we receive it, it has a shipping permit, veterinary health certificate.

02:33At the same time, ESF-free certificate.

02:36From BAHI, we are asking NMIS and LGU about the localities and provinces that are affected.
